Ear Fatigue Suggestions
I'm finding I get ear fatigue from my E5 + Dynalo + K501, 580 combination, I think its the amp + E5 combo thats causing it. I think I need some warmth and smoothness to round it out. Do i need some tubes in there?- murrmax

Headphone Paradox
A couple of questions - Why does burn in help decrease/tighten bass on k81dj's while burn in on 501's makes more fills out the bass - a paradox??? Also with speakers a closed box will give you tighter more exact/articulate bass and vented/ported speakers will have more but less articulated...- murrmax

Gain issue
I have an integrated amp with a dual volume pot and one channel is audible before the other as you turn the volume up from zero. I can't tell at reasonable volume levels but it is annoying for low level listening. What could be the cause of this? is it most likely to be the volume pot??- murrmax

tweaking advice needed
I'm unhappy with my setup due to the harsh highs and hardness. I have E5 eastsound + Dynalo + HD580s. It sounds better(musical, smoother , more like the Musicians intended it to be, prat etc) through my UM1's than the Senns, musically speaking (the senns are superior technically from an...- murrmax

Dynalo hum problem
I've got a Dynalo amp which worked fine until I recased it the other day and now I have a high pitch hum in one channel. It sounds fine in both channels if you wind the volume up, but the hum is a constant sound and volume so is quite audible at low vol. I really don't understand what it could...- murrmax

Eastsound E5 or DAC
I'm looking for advice on a cd upgrade (presently have NAD542). It's the weakest link in my system . Only problem is I reckon having a hard drive based device+itunes +usb+dac makes sense in the long run . But the eastsound cd player looks like fantastic value - so can I get a decent usb dac for...- murrmax

distortion problem
I've just finished wiring up a Dynalo and it sounds great as it should with my MS1's. But if I swap to Senn 580's they distort at any volume level badly(unlistenable totally). I tested them with the ipod and they're fine. Anyone know what the problem may be?? Cheers- murrmax
