shield as ground for extension?
Hei- I want to make myself a hedphone extension- is there a drawback when using a cable with 2 conductors for left/right and the shielding for common ground? Or is it better to use a cable with an extra conductor for ground? thank you for your help dave- dgrein

Extending and/or replacing?
hello all- I'm thinking about making myself a headphone extension from bulk Kimber PBJ cable for my Denon D5000s- The question is, if I should shorten the original cable to about 10cm before the cable split and using a longer extension - I don't want to damage the cans and since I don't know...- dgrein

good evenig- how long can the cable be between headphone amp (Lehmann) and cans before it affects sound quality? I guess, I need about 6m - any suggestions for a good extension cable? not sure which cans I'm going to buy,yet... greetings from norway- dgrein
