How do the Edition 11s compare with the Signature Pros which I own and is one of my favourites? How is the treble on the 11s? Once I tried the the Edition 10s and it was terrible. And what about the Edition 5 unlimited, which I liked, but the treble also seemed off, metallic?

Well, I run my Sennheiser HD800s and Beyer T1s with balanced cables via my Oppo HA-1 connected similarly with balanced cables to my Oppo 205, so you would presumably call them balanced? Pardon me if I'm a bit dense, but what would be the difference with these headphones and the Fidelios apart...

Is it possible to drive these balanced? I have found a cable with a 4 pin XLR termination on eBay intended for the Fidelios, but I thought it required an internal modification in the headphone to order to run them balanced.

The other cable is just a cheap Chinese one I bought as I needed a longer one, no difference in sound I can hear.

This is definitely one of my favourite headphones, but I have problems with the cable. The fit is terribly fussy, and unless it sits just right, there is only sound in one channel. I only get sound in both channels by fiddling with the plug, and pushing it as far in as possible doesn't help...

PS Otherwise, I would be a potential customer:-)
