Soundcard to AMP/DAC any difference?
God damnit... It might be an even longer while until I buy a soundcard, just found out that the modmic (with shipping and taxes) costs more than 100$, and it's already been dispatched so I can't cancel my order :/- HyperDuckling

Soundcard to AMP/DAC any difference?
Will do! although it might be a bit until I actually buy it... just bought a ModMic and with shipping to my country it costs 80$... DAYUM! So I have to justify to myself spending any more money on headphone audio :) already spent 640$ (headphones, AMP, Mic, and soon soundcard), it's an...- HyperDuckling

Soundcard to AMP/DAC any difference?
Hmmm... just read some reviews on the ASUS Xonar DGX on newegg, and some pointed out that it does NOT output Dolby Digitial with Optical. Can anyone confirm/deny that?- HyperDuckling

Soundcard to AMP/DAC any difference?
I'll definetly give the Razer Software a try! I'm currently connecting it to my pc via USB. And yes, motherboard drivers are all up to date! :) I was thinking of getting the DGX (mainly because of PCI-E x1) and an optical cable, though everything is alot more expensive over here, so...- HyperDuckling

Headphones for gaming/music
I just spotted a sale, here in Denmark. The only retailer who sells the Fiio E09K, has it on sale for only 90£/150$ including taxes/shipping, and thats quite alot cheaper than anything i've seen on eBay/Amazon... should i go for it? btw. it only lasts until 18-06 :/- HyperDuckling

I'll definetly give the Razer Surround a try! And i'm also really hooked on the K701 and AD700X, for no particular reason really... they just look awesome! :) and they should (both) have a huge soundstage, so maybe them paired with a Fiio E9I and some Razer Surround? :)- HyperDuckling

Headphones for gaming/music
I've tried quite a few (3) different headsets with virtual surround sound, and IMO it didn't help a jack locating enemies location :) I've looked it through quite a few times, but still can't choose :) i've also checked pretty all reviews I could find on the headphones... but still can't...- HyperDuckling
