    HiBy R2 - HiBy's entry-level HiFi digital audio player

You can tell which version of WH2 you have by looking at the color of the screens in the ends of the "output" holes. Dual BA will be silver, Dynamic will be gold. I still haven't tried UAT yet, but from what I'm reading here I gather the R2 and WH2 use different (incompatible) versions of UAT...

    HiBy R2 - HiBy's entry-level HiFi digital audio player

My W2/R2 bundle finally arrived. I'm quite pleased with the W2s so far. Small size, great sound via LDAC (I haven't tried UAT, tho), small and light. And a good pairing with the R2. I'm also liking the R2. Compared to my R3Pro, it's smaller/lighter, has a more visually appealing (if sometimes...

    Hiby R2, R3, R3 Pro radio.txt File - 226 Verified Stations including SomaFM, 181.fm, and more

I don't know why you couldn't get it to work as-is, but I'm glad you got it working. Very interesting that it works without the ".txt" extension!

Hiby R3 Pro Portable Bluetooth DAP

Only other thing I can suggest is connect them to your iPhone, turn the volume to max (you may actually have to b er playing something), then disconnect (while at max volume) and then pair with the Hiby. Also, I'm sure there's a thread -probably many- here on Head-Fi about Airpods Pro. Maybe...

Hiby R3 Pro Portable Bluetooth DAP

In the R3Pro's Bluetooth menu there's a setting for "Bluetooth volume adjust". I've found this useful for earphones that don't have their own volume controls. Select that, then tap "Increase..." 16 times (to ensure it's at max) and then adjust listening volume with the R3Pro regular volume...

    Hiby R2, R3, R3 Pro radio.txt File - 226 Verified Stations including SomaFM, 181.fm, and more

Just popped in here for a quick update. Added one station - Early 1900s Music Preservation's "Radio Dismuke", offering 1920s-30s pop and jazz along with occasional vintage commercials. I've updated the file attached to the OP and at http://masturbatorium.com/hibyradio.txt Since it's only one...

    Qobuz Lossless Streaming Service Thread

Interesting. The Qobuz website has a link to the play store, but it's 404. Apple store link still works. For a minute I thought maybe Google was taking down all the competition to try to force people into using YouTube Music, but all the others are there. Interestingly, if you search for "Qobuz"...

Looks pretty nice, especially for the price, but I need the Tidal/Qobuz streaming. I use that far more often than local files.

OTA update worked (almost) perfectly for me. When I tried to download it, it said "no SD card" (or maybe it was "SD card not found") even though it had a card in it. Ejected and reinserted card (without even exiting the download screen) and retried - worked perfectly!

    Monoprice Electrostatic Headphone

Or maybe nothing wrong at all. I didn't see the listing, but if it only has "static" (which could mean distortion to someone not well-versed in audio lingo) when turne up loud, it could jut be from over-driving the amp, especially if the user doesn't know what to expect and assumes that putting...

There is no FM radio. Only internet "radio". There's a file here with lots of stations, along with instructions how to use it: https://www.head-fi.org/threads/hiby-r3-pro-radio-txt-file-286-verified-stations-including-somafm-181-fm-and-talpa.931918/

It's getting harder and harder to find .mp3 streams - seems the providers want to force you into visiting their website or using their app :unamused:. Some are still out there, but not publicised. It takes a bit of detective work sometimes. @Richiyaado 's search method is a good one. Also, use...

You could just edit it, deleting all the text (and perhaps replacing it with "[deleted]"). That's what I do in forums that don't have a "delete" but do allow editing.

Hiby R3 Pro Portable Bluetooth DAP

I replied in the other thread, but will repeat it here... file must be named radio.txt (not Radio.txt - it's case-sensitive). Then look in playlists, tap Custome Radio, and you will see a list of stations. Tap one of these to play that station. Photos attached.

    Hiby R2, R3, R3 Pro radio.txt File - 226 Verified Stations including SomaFM, 181.fm, and more

I'm not sure if it matters - did you name the file radio.txt? Or Radio.txt? Might make a difference - being Linux-based, filenames are case sensitive. Should be radio.txt - all lower case. Also, you won't see any "music". Look in lists/playlists, find "custom radio". Tap that and you'll see a...

Hiby R3 Pro Portable Bluetooth DAP

Interesting. Depending where you look and how old the information is. That's the trouble with the internet - persistence of data and un-dated documents. I've also read somewhere that they put AAC (instead of Vorbis) in an OGG container. I suppose in the end it comes down to which service's...

I'm just the opposite - I see no reason for the added cost and complication of using multiple services when I can get lossless or higher when I want it and lossy when I need it from one provider, same playlists, etc. Also, I can't speak for Tidal, but I can say that Qobuz's 320k streams sound...

Hiby R3 Pro Portable Bluetooth DAP

I've noticed that as well - no way to select maximum quality as in the native app. I thought perhaps it was a limitation of the API, but the fact that BubbleUPnP offers the ability to limit max quality (on Qobuz, anyway; I don't use Tidal) suggests it *is* possible to do in a 3rd-party app. I...
