    GS Audio Impressions Thread

Problem with the GD3A is some harshness in the highs, I guess it's why on the video you can see the (wide bore) stock tips are used on the GD5, not on the GD3A. To tame the highs a bit, you have to use some tips with narrower bore, that's what I did with with mine, they sound pretty good now...

I'm in the same boat concerning bass, bass is soft with any genre I listen to. I can't expect it to be as tight and fast as BA, but I know DD can do better than this, there's no punch/impact when needed.

They're good but not great unless you're basshead, they're too unbalanced, if you're coming from bassy or warm&sweet earphones, the gap in bass quantity is not too much, if you're more into balanced or worse, bright signature, Easy UEs are not for you. I've been doing some long listening with...

X1 has a very good line out, heaphone out is different from X3, warmer, less spacious, better with vocals.

HI2050 and Pro80 became rare, this is why they're more expensive, finding HI2050 for 40$ is a real bargain (ordered mine in November 2011 for 52$), now it's mostly around 80$. I'm not sure M30x can compare in comfort, build and sound quality, but any source can drive it easily.

No, you should pay the VAT, but when using national posts, it's unusual unless the value is high. When using services like DHL, UPS, Fedex and some others they declare everything, you have to pay VAT and handling charges. Many asian sellers are used to that and the value on the parcel is...

I agree with your coments but the bass control part, not sure the X3 is far better, but sense of space around the instruments is where X1 can't compare to X3 and sound stage is wider.   Quote: No cut off with Rockbox, but a delay around 2 seconds when starting the first song, happen...

Hi twin,   I ordered the Easy UEs 6 days ago (no news about shipment yet), I read your feedback and I'm a little worried about bass quantity cause I'm no basshead. Do you think they're more on the basshead side or on the warm & sweet side ?

I don't understand how we could have vacuum problem with Tenore, because air can flow gently, without constraints from the vent to the nozzle. No vents doesn't mean IEMs are sealed.

The same for me here, and I don't think Meelec bi-flange would change anything, bass rumble is normal. The best tips I found for my ears are medium size bi-flange (smaller than meelec) with medium bore.

When you look at the chart of the MH1 mod, no rear volume means a cut-off frequency around 1.5 KHz, -2 dB at 500 Hz and -4 dB at around 300 Hz. When the chamber is totally open, bass is close to 0 dB, and sub-bass increase above 0 dB at 40 Hz.
