The FiiO X1 Discussion and Help and Support Thread |192K/24B|100mW | LO | inline remote

How do others ensure that songs are not repeated?   This is an 'essential' feature to any high-capacity media player as absolutely no one can keep track of what songs have been played and what songs have not. And I *hate*..with a passion..when songs are repeated twice or three times before...

So, it wouldn't repeat *any* song until *all* songs have been played? That's what I'm going for, essentially.

For people that own this player, how do you ensure that you don't repeat songs?   What I currently do (with my iPod Nano - 6th gen) is have 2 playlists "All songs" and "Today's Songs".   "Today's Songs" is a smart playlist based off "All Songs", which is set up like this: Playlist is 'All...

I am looking for a headphone clothing clip.  A lot of headphones have these included but the ones I purchased did not.  Where can I find these?  (I am in Canada...I'm not paying $20 to have something shipped over here)

Buying portable or in-ear headphones? Seeking guidance? DON'T START A NEW THREAD. Ask for advice HERE!

Looking for a pair of headphones or ear buds for the gym.  I listen to classical mostly, some metal, some techno.   What I am looking for in a pair of headphones:   1) Noise isolating - as I'll be in a gym (not noise-cancelling) 2) Comfortable to wear for periods up to 2 hours without...

    Tried the Koss Portapro

So...I tried the Koss Portapro.    Immediately...didn't like them.  I have a large head and they were tight on me, even when the headband was extended to it's maximum.  (I even tried the Sennheiser PX 100 - it clamped on me so tight that my ears felt like they were going to bleed)   Plus...

    Koss Portapro....for exercise?

I've been looking for decent headphones to use while exercising (elliptical/treadmill/weights) plus, these would be worn while I'm at work.  I used to use the Sennheiser PMX-60 as they were comfortable to wear for hours and hours without my ears feeling like they are bleeding.   I tried the...

    Sennheiser PX100-II

I purchased the PX 100-II on Friday.   I returned them today.  They were torture to wear.  Only after wearing them for 2 hours (and I need headphones that I can wear for 7+ hours at a time), my ears were incredibly sore and very red.  The head band is simply too tight for me.   They did...

USB DAC's and USB external hard drives

If I have a USB DAC and a USB hard drive connected at the same time, would reading data off of the hard drive cause interference in the DAC?

Is this safe? or will this blow my speakers?

Sweet. I like the idea of the Firestone MASS. I'll have to keep that in mind. So, I think this is a good setup: Dacmagic > Firestone Mass > RCA > KRK Rokit-G2 5 monitors.

    Is this a "good" setup?

will the MON800 have enough power to drive the KRK's as a preamp/volume control?

    Is this a "good" setup?

After reading the forums over a few times looking for solutions, I think I have a very good idea what of what my next computer speaker system will be. Here's how the sound would go with my upgrade: Computer > USB > Dacmagic > Behringer MON800 (For volume control/headphones) > KRK RP-5 G2...

    Cambridge DACMagic, anyone? (THREAD II)

Just a question.. I'm almost ready to buy the Dacmagic, but I was wondering does the Dacmagic make low-bitrate mp3's (128kbps) sound worse, or better, then before? I have a lot of them and trying to find higher-quality mp3's of those songs is an impossible task.

Volume control with DAC's and monitors

Since most DAC's don't have volume control, and most studio monitors do not have volume control, what do most of you guys use, besides the computer volume settings, to control the volume? I'd like an external way of controlling the volume. Would I need an amp for that? or a receiver? I know I'm...
