Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

That’s perfect thank you! The issue I’m finding is the isolation is poor and I’m getting the gyms eurobeat garbage bleeding through at times, and although the fit of the Bose is immaculate imo, the fact they stick out the sheer weigh makes them move, never near to fall out but the sensation is...

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

I used to follow this thread then well lost pace, I’ve just got the Bose Soundsport free but wondering if the the Sony would have been the better option, these will be primarily used for weight training if that matters.

    TOTL Headphones Comparison

One of the best reads on here I’m a long time, clean and easy to follow, good thread. I’d like to see how some of the lower tier stack up though, I know it defeates the logic of a TOTL shootout but it also helps to see how TOTL they really are, eg. How far of is a Focal Elear for instance to the...

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

Well I got my Sol Air Amps this morning, can say I’m highly highly impressed. Packaging is lovely, case and bud build quality is far beyond what I expected. Opened them, paired them to each other, then to my phone, took all of 7 seconds, never a drop out, never a glitch so far so very impressed...

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

I certainly don’t want to derail a good thread but any customers waiting for these in Europe please message Bose and say they’re quite frankly taking the P*** out of you. I asked the question and basically got a message back that said the US is they’re biggest market and that’s what they care...

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

If Bose didn’t screw Europe I’d own these now but alas I can’t buy another Bose product after this nonsense, how it takes 6 months to ship to a distributor in Europe is beyond me but that’s a matter for a different day. They were always going to be good, for now I’ll have to wait till some of...

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

I just ordered some Sol Republic Air Amps, got them dirt cheap from Hong Kong so worth a punt. From reviews they sound like they could be enough for me until something amazing comes out in the future. I’ll post general sound, fit and connection impressions here when they arrive

Sol Republic Amps Air? Couple of the reviews I’ve read seem pretty favourable. Maybe we need a definitive list of options available and whether they’re worth a look or best avoided.

Poll: Best Single Balanced Armature Earphones!

None of the above sadly, Final FI-BA-SS are light years ahead of the above imo.

    Grado Fan Club!

After 8 years in the game so to speak I'm looking to buy my first Grado! GH-2 or PS-500e? Opinions? Like that they both seem to be a bit bassier, and a bit more mellow. Guide me into a decision.

    Gym headphones, which ones?

I'm looking to replace me aging gym earbuds with a new pair of wireless ones, this really isn't in my realm so anyone tell me what is the absolute best?

    TOTL Headphones Comparison

Nice, simple and easy to get a good grasp of the sound, good job! I do agree though, 007 and 009 would be awesome.

    Stereo Reciever as headphone Amp

Agree don't with the above, seems an odd way of doing it tbh. I sometimes run my headphones out of my AV Reciever and get decent results.

Final Audio Design Impressions and Discussion Thread

The Lab 1 does have truly beautiful bass with the right source and recording, honestly fantastic but imo that all it has going for it, but that's to my ears, maybe I'm wrong but I can only express what I hear.

Final Audio Design Impressions and Discussion Thread

I think it seems like I'm flat out hating on the Lab 1 but truly I'm not, but it is a highly unremarkable headphone, personally I think if you're a final fan the Lab 1 is even more dissapointing as imo it's missing most of what makes final so special. It was wildly overhyped and over priced.

Agreed, personally I think the fibass is miles ahead of the Lab 1

So the IX is the sweet spot perhaps for value performance ratio. For me the X is just too much of a leap from the IX for a very niche earphone that's only suitable sometimes. Problem is I still want the X!!!!

I'm considering getting a PF IX, big difference from the X? I've only ever had the PF VIII and never really knew the sonic differences.

    Earbuds Round-Up

Thank you Vapman, it is seeming to me that the K's 500 maybe more to my liking, I'd like to hear your opinions between the two though.

    Earbuds Round-Up

I guess the diameter and angle of the stalk may cause comfort issues as well as the head diameter, that's why I like the Cygnus as the stalk is very narrow

Long time since I heard the Ed10 and even then only briefly but I never understood the hate for it at all.
