    Sony MDR-Z7M2 Headphone Thread

Sony not a snake oil company, all different class device selling at the the right price they demanded. And it all depend on your ears and the player you have to make it difference. Don't expect to use any cellphone, or a cheap dap, cheap CD player to make Z1R sing. Which mean Z1R need more...

SONY WH1000XM3 - better than QC35 in noise cancelling?

Even XM3 itself used in wired mode win the BT wireless mode. If you like like light and fast(articulate) bass sound like HD650 and other open headphones, then you won't like the bass of XM3, same goes for mid and high.

SONY WH1000XM3 - better than QC35 in noise cancelling?

Great that you can hear the different. Have you ever wondering why some mysteriously "claimed" they couldn't hear anything different at all in SQ changed, and some speculating "ANC took a few steps backward" after new v4.1.1 firmware update?

SONY WH1000XM3 - better than QC35 in noise cancelling?

The reason why XM3 doesn't support multiple devices is bcoz it uses true wireless earbud type of blue connection. But it does not work like airpod which you can select from device Control Center. So manually disconnect XM3 from your iPhone and then connect XM3 to your laptop. Anyway either way...

Hmm... That guy that use XM3 while sleeping video showed he indeed stressed the cans much wider than need to reproduce the creaking sound. Thanks to him, he alert me not to do what he did. But nevertheless, it certainly look like it was a manufacturing issue on some units. Good that Sony are...

You're welcome. Not going to say it's easy but the silver color version will pick up some marks when use with greasy hands. Lately headphones slowly becoming a fashion wear, so the silver color one a better choice, but if you are bother about marks then choose the black one

I can use exactly your mentality and say, oh B&W are so out dated, with existing technology they couldn't come out something much lighter, they need to put heavy metal can on your head that make you walk like a bull on the street bcoz B&W felt you are more safe with more heavy metal. Lol.. And...

Like other brands, I don't think Sony will list out everything they've done in the new update, except for the major one.

SONY WH1000XM3 - better than QC35 in noise cancelling?

It's wasn't even a problem for most users. I hate to repeat, but as I've said before, no one design suit everyone. That's also why we have plenty of choice, don't like Sony solutions just buy other brand and full stop.

SONY WH1000XM3 - better than QC35 in noise cancelling?

What i can say is, not one design suit everyone. From Sony Engineer's stand point, they designed XM3 with better 3-points support thus better ergonomics and the headphones weights more balance cross the head therefore people can use it for much longer listening. Also call it sweet & lovely...
