    Superlux HD681 Lifespan?

Alrighty! I appreciate that I was looking for a good budget buy and decided if I buy the 681 that I'd buy the 681-EVO for comparison. You have any feedback on the EVO or have you had the time to listen to them?

    Superlux HD681 Lifespan?

I've been reading a lot on these because their a headphone I was looking at grabbing. I see an issue of people on Amazon saying they've only lasted a month or not even a few months. Can anyone with experience tell me how long they've had theirs and their experience with the can themselves? I...

    [Question]What are the best/newest/cheapest?

Hi, I'm approaching this to see what options I have for Over Ear Headphones. I had my AudioTechnica ATH-M50 for well over 11 Years, recently they just broke. I wanted to see from everyone around what the best pairs of Over Ear Headphones are right now. In the past, I always saw a ton of...

Chinese / Asian Brand IEM Info Thread

Thanks to all you nuts I've bought myself the KZ ZS3, & KZ ZST so far. Question for you all though. I'm looking for a brighter sounding, maybe even tinny sound. Is there an IEM with detachable cables and the like that has this sorta signature on Amazon for around the $25 mark you'd recommend?

    Earbuds Going Bad[Thoughts/Views]

I do agree with you on this, especially people who buy budget IEMs, even though China has gotten better people still thrash IEMs around which I've never understood, I think it's all something to do with just management and taking care of them. I've never heard a thing about changing out the...

How long do headphones usually last?

Yep to you two! I'd say with IEMs it takes a lot of true caring for them, & really watching what you're doing. Like I originally said though, magnets shouldn't give out too easily, & secondly most electronics shouldn't be kept in hot conditions in general.

How long do headphones usually last?

Hard to say in general as to of how long things last. I don't always agree with the whole 'the driver goes bad', I think a lot of this argument has to do with how you use the volume for one. My experiences. AudioTechnica ATH-IM50 I've owned going on about three years now, the cable has gone...

    Earbuds Going Bad[Thoughts/Views]

So as I've delved more into audio and proceeded to try out more of the market out In-Ears to Earbuds, Earbuds have really posed a question to me, Earbuds like the VE Monk, & others. Can Earbuds truly last you as long as headphones? I've always heard the old folk tales of people having...

    Review of Audio Technica ATH-IM01, ATH-IM02, ATH-IM03, ATH-IM04, ATH-IM50, & ATH-IM70

Really?  So question! I've had the IM50 for a while now, and I wanna upgrade in this line. But the reason I love the IM50 is because is nice, soothing, & warmth without it being like a lot of other darker sounding pieces I've heard. This is different primarily because of the vocal focus, and...

    VSonic VSD5 Impressions Thread. VSonic's answer to Sony's EX1000???

Just started hearing more about the VSD5. Demoed the VSD3S for a couple of hours. I currently use the ATH-IM50, & MEElectronics M6 Pros, how do they compare to either of the two, and compared to the M6, would they be an upgrade, or? I've heard they have a slightly similar sound signature.

    Review of Audio Technica ATH-IM01, ATH-IM02, ATH-IM03, ATH-IM04, ATH-IM50, & ATH-IM70

Agreed, I loved Player Pro for the longest time, my issue being with Player Pro was the audio quality wasn't accurate. So showed some testing done too. Another issue was that I use a lot of ALAC, & FLAC, and PowerAmp reads the files better, and allows you to tag, while Player Pro rejects doing...

[Help]Shure SE215 vs. Westone UM Pro 10 vs. Westone Adventure Alpha

Sound great, right?  Only real complaint I've heard from people about the ADV is comments such as "The Bass comes off much heavier than Beats, which is a distraction", but I can use a bassy IEM from time to time to be fair.

I thought I had seen the whole of SE215 reviews, and then you came along. I see Soundstage as being squished in these, and I definitely disagree with them being fun sounding, as more fun sounding things are more musical. The SE215 has a relaxed sound signature, as commonly said by others, it's...

Pretty accurate, one of the more accurate reviews I've heard of the IM series. I feel your opinion on bass effect is to be argued. I've heard the device, and heard from others, others saying that they're very tinny sounding, lack a lot of bass, or it's almost similar to listening to something...

I have too comment, it was foolish of you to think it was a bright idea to throw higher end IEMs into your pant pocket. You've gotta be a little more thoughtful, and a lot less reckless.

Review by 'whitemass' on item 'MEElectronics M6 PRO Universal-Fit Noise-Isolating Musician’s In-Ear Monitors with Detachable Cables'

MEElectronics/MEEaudio Introduction My experience with IEMs is short lived, but I've had fair enough experience to give you proper detailing. I mainly use detachable only, and can report from multiple detach period with the M6 they don't have an issue being pulled apart.   -Details  -Sub...

A bit late to this discussion but the only primary reason I could think of for the loss in sound in one bud is due to you, you probably detach the cables more often than they should be. Given I do this on the IM50 a lot more than I should as a show off piece, Shure had an issue with the lower...

Thanks for this! I don't usually buy into the High End range, but I want a Balanced Armature Driver IEM for a risky, but cheap price to fit into my collection. So far from what I've read, your review varies from a realm of other I've watched, but is much appreciated.

Eh, I can't agree... I feel the IM02, or the SE315 have more to offer. The SE215 is a good pondering point for people who want a Warm NOT Fun Sounding IEM. And I'm confused on how you got fun sound from this. It's a much more laid back piece. Fun usually is Treble with a fall off, Bass that is...

    Audio-Technica IM50, IM70 Discussion Thread

Honestly, I'd personally recommend you try and get used to foams. I've recently purchased some of these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0055XIB1W?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00 For the sake of comfort, and that they grip the nozzles easier on things like the MEElectronics...

Audio Technica ATH-IM70: A Bold New Direction

No, I hate to say it. But you'd be a complete fool if you think the GX50 will replace the IM70.    The GX50 is nice, and has nice extension, but it's boomy, and lacky accuracy, and has a bit of Mids Coloration that makes it sound a bit swampy.
