USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP): 24- and 32-bit playback, ubiquitous USB audio support for Android
Select "channel mode" on the 6 band parametric EQ screen. I don't know if there's a way to make channel mode selectable in the 10 band parametric EQ, however.- WitzyZed

Yes. On the EQ/spectrum screen, activate (a preset) and then long press the EQ icon. On the next page, click the settings gear which appears at the bottom. Next, increase the number of channels to 2. Confirm (✓) and on previous screen highlight either the L or R channel and tune your preset.- WitzyZed

That's not an option, sadly. The oscilloscope is the only one that can be shown on its own (with/without album art). Personally, it would be great to have an option to disable any of the options in the cycle, as well as have stereo oscilloscope (instead of summed to mono signal) or stereo vu meter.- WitzyZed

There is an X in the bottom left corner, it may be faint to see, but it is there, just above the repeat button. Clicking it will cycle through the options, returning to no display, then finally back to just album art.- WitzyZed

It appears they have Various Artists as the album artist for all the tracks (guessing just a little bit here).- WitzyZed

Have you enabled this? If songs are in a directory such as Artist->Album->Disc1, Disc 2, Disc 3, Disc 4, etc. they will appear separate unless that option is enabled.- WitzyZed

If you're someone who already had a mk3 t50 and t60, holding out for the mkIV makes sense. If you're someone, like me who jumped on with the t5050, the release of the mkIV doesn't irk me in the slightest.- WitzyZed

Ah, I see! I wasn't sure what was giving you a warning, thought it was UAPP, but it was the OS. Yeah I'd definitely say you're getting the most direct path. How kind of it to stay clear :)- WitzyZed

USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP): 24- and 32-bit playback, ubiquitous USB audio support for Android
Lots of factors here: Dolby Atmos processing forces 16 bits / 48 kHz (as far as I know). Samsung's Scalable Codec, in practice is anywhere from 88-512 kbps, I don't buy the marketing pitch that it ever reaches 2304 kbps (full bitrate for 24 bit / 48 kHz). Just like LDAC rarely keeps its full...- WitzyZed

Whose custom firmware? Do you mean the custom kernel project? My signature has instructions, are those the ones that you found extreme difficulty with?- WitzyZed

USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP): 24- and 32-bit playback, ubiquitous USB audio support for Android
Device dependent, but it natively plays back .dsf files for me, and there is also a separate upsampling section, which would not apply to DSD files, but upsample all PCM to maximum supported rate (or maximum supported rate that is an integer multiple of source rate). These options are found in...- WitzyZed

Wouldn't hold your breath on that. Anywhere you'd try and look (say with a Google search) will just be flooded with seedy mod apks (that won't work). The license checker is also super demanding about only the latest app version (and play store services) being installed.- WitzyZed

[I'm late to the party, whoops!] Just a quick stop to the forum section of FiiO's website is all that's needed. There's a repository of all versions there. The version attainable from play store is geared towards modern Android phones, whereas the version this player needs is the one specified...- WitzyZed

Regardless of file type.. let's just say you had over 6,000 albums, and each folder had a 3,000kB cover art .jpg within it. That would be 18 gigabytes of data right there. You don't have 18 gigabytes worth of album art.- WitzyZed

So 1080x1920? Or 720x1280? You're free to do as you will, but with mp3tag you can mass adjust embedded album art sizes; as well as mass extract artwork if you wish to keep the higher resolutions on-hand. I would recommend not having album art sizes that exceed the smaller of the two dimensions...- WitzyZed

I don't think there's ever been multiple genre support in UAPP. Nothing in its options point to it, nor is there anything close to or resembling Poweramp's split character selector.- WitzyZed
