I'm curious about Prime owners impressions against the TH-X00. I'm sure the soundstage is wider on the Primes, but how does the sub bass compare between the two? I'm trying to narrow down to one if I had to choose.

I wanted to know what peoples thoughts on the TH-X00 vs Alpha Prime. I'm sure the Primes will have more sound stage. How does the sub bass compare between the two? I'm currently getting my alpha dogs upgraded to Primes before he puts to rest of upgrading mad dogs/alpha dogs completely.

Do you think it matters what kind of tape material wise you use? Duct tape? Medical tape?

Anyone have any experience with TH610 pads vs TH500rp pads? Any major difference? From pictures, looks like the 610 pads have a slightly ear hole space. 

What's the sound signature like compared to the TH-X00's variations? I keep reading that z7 is a bit dark. I'm sure the sub-bass is amazing though. Is the default cable really that bad?

I have the Ether C's 1.1 and playing with the different pads to bring out the bass a bit more without going the C Flow route. Guess I'll be spending some trial and error this weekend. I do love the clarity of the mids and vocals. Sound stage is amazing as well for this closed set.

Yes, that is correct. Hoping that I get a number below that dependent on when I "attempted" to order. If not, doesn't matter.

I have alpha pads on my TH-X00's. Calms the treble a bit because how thick the pads are creating some distance from the drivers. Plus, so much more comfortable than stock. My ears couldn't handle the stock pads for more than a couple hours. I also tried HM5 angled pleather, but the alpha pads...

I got an email yesterday with tracking number. The delivery date is pending. Shipping from their warehouse in NJ. Hopefully it comes in by the end of the week. Never listened to HD600/650's, so I'm excited to hear how they sound.
