I was looking at the Bose QC Ultras for a trip I’m taking soon. Conclusion that I reached, after advice here, was stick to the QCii unless I needed the “immersion” mode and Snapdragon sound. I went with some refurb QCii’s on the Bose website.

Had the DPP (returned for QC issues), but on my iPhone 12, AAC was comparable with a sennheiser BTD 600 dongle and apt x adaptive. Lively enough for workouts, but aptX held a slight advantage.
