Hifiman has some elevated treble in their house sound but not necessary sibilance. You can always purchase from hifiman and return in 30 days if you don't like it. If you get i used here it's another story.

So it depends. You have to like the Focal house sound. If you do they are great.

Totally. I’m happy with Sony v5 for that because of the excellent ANC. ANC on AirPods Pro truly suck at the gym because they blast their sound so loud

It also depends if you wear them to the gym. Bathys are kinda geeky looking for the gym. :sunglasses:

Focal is dense in the middle. All focals to my ears. The clear og is an excellent headphone tho. I just recently got the Meze Elite thinking it would be the next level up from the E3. It wasn’t at all so I sold the Meze.

I've always found the focal sound dense and thick in the middle.

Just got these and they have less than 100hrs on them. Although these are very very good, AND require very little to drive them they still aren't quite there so I prefer selling sooner than later. Especially Atrium Open and Caldera to trade. Comes with Meze silver 4.4 Cable Alcantara Angle Pads...

I'm sure the TT2 is great but I don't think you need to spend anywhere near this. I think about a $1k DAC and a $1k amp is more than sufficient. But then again I haven't personally heard the TT2

I love the RME and use just the DAC. I don’t think the Mojo had much control adjusting things. I’d try pads first. Do some research.

hardware eq is infinitely better especially on a Mac. I have never gotten decent results from software eq on my Mac. Did you try pad swapping ?
