The housings don't arouse my suspicions, even the ie600 number isn't very deeply engraved like on some counterfeits and looks like a very precise and fine job done here. Only the grills seem bit rougher on the edges (the photos exaggerate it a bit, they don't look as rough in reality).

Thats not possible. The pa10 is able to give almost 1.9W to 32 Ohms. Maybe the loudness is close but it doesnt mean that the headphones are driven to their full potential.

I havent noticed any changes in sound with the latest FW. TBH the soundstage of the sp1000 is still one of the widest on portables even today. It even tops the IBasso DC Elite which has an extraordinary staging (not only for a dongle).

The Elite leans towards analytical only when underpowered. All folks who say that the Elite is bright/analytical don't use a proper source for it. When powered properly (Samsung, Sony phones) the Elite is actually very polite in the tereble area, even slightly rolled off.
