Yes it does have shallow fit but I didn’t find it as an issue with my ears. Most of the tips I tried it with fit me well without any concerns.

Which IEM are you referring to?

I do have CP145 but I got it M size to realise that they don’t fit me at all. I also feel that the silicone has satin feel to it but it’s very flimsy and doesn’t really hold its structure well.

Any reason why you thought it would have bass heavy tuning?

I’ve taken my 41T out couple of days ago so I can compare it to 61T (did not get it yet). Does the 61T have the same beautiful vocals?

Yea, good gear is getting cheaper and cheaper gear are getting better.

Happy to report that there isn’t significant improvement with a balanced cable. Used XD05 Pro, D16, Aroma a100TB and Dita Navigator as sources. There’s slight improvement in dynamics and mid bass. That’s all

You can try Asla Sedna light MS size, Spintfit W1 M size. Divinus Velvet MS worked well too.

I don’t have the Noir but I do have Pilgrim and Volare. It seems like I/O carefully examined the variations, identified its shortcomings, and enhanced every aspect where it fell short.

Yes, I was able to take some time out today. Type E definitely is a better choice with 4U but I didn’t find it made any noticeable difference in the lower treble area. The vocals were slightly forward and had better note weight and I felt the bass was slightly more textured.

Let’s see. It’s all speculation at this point. 😄

I found the Apple lightning to 3.5 dongle to have good control but I’ve got the ones released way back in 2018.

Verdandi was the first IEM that fit me comfortably and I was able to experience the BCD driver. The sub bass was very defined.

Finally managed to get a Vortex cable with Con X to try the Pilgrim on balanced sources. Would be interesting to see if there’s any difference.
