Beginner Seeking Podcast Recording Advice
also, look at some videos on how to use an audio gate, which is essentially a tool which allows you to cut out sounds below a certain level (such as another voice coming through your vocal channel) this can really clean up your mix.- WILLJS

Beginner Seeking Podcast Recording Advice
there are tons of free DAWs online, but garageband is often considered one of the better ones, so i wouldn't recommend a different one unless you are sure the issue is with garageband and not your computer on a whole. if that is the case, try Bandlab, it is quite basic but should have everything...- WILLJS

iFi Audio asks... What was your first piece of iFi Gear?
quite a bit, most improvement in the midrange, but an overall tighter sound, with faster bass etc. I also use a bit of eq on them too, sucking a bit of lower mids out as well, and fixing the treble a bit.- WILLJS

iFi Audio asks... What was your first piece of iFi Gear?
I bought a Hip Dac as my first foray into the headfi world, I bought it on a runout sale from Addicted to Audio, with some birthday money from my grandparents. originally bought it to use with my Fiio JH3 IEMs, and Sennheiser Momentum headphones. now I use it to drive everything from Elegias to...- WILLJS

Why Is There Not More Pushback Against Active Noise Cancelling Headphones
passive noise cancellation relies heavily on the shape of your head, of the earpads don't seal perfectly then passive cancellation has little benefit. if you are not a fan for hifi listening then that's fine, but, as mentioned many times already, ANC provides the best compromise between sound...- WILLJS

Why Is There Not More Pushback Against Active Noise Cancelling Headphones
i would tend to agree, even ANC headphones from flagship companies like focal and audeze are sold at a relatively low price and marketed at the consumer market, rather than the audiophile one- WILLJS
