I deserve the headphones because in my lifetime, I will never be able get my hands on these pairs, unless I have been given ones.

I think it worths the upgrade especially if you go for the multibit version. I auditioned it once for an hour and it totally blew my mind...

It seem like this unit has a smaller power supply than V850 and that will definitely contribute to the sound quality (not sure about the level of differences), but at 600 euro less, it is so tempting...

According to the spec, I think RS-06 is like a one or two step down from V850. My only wish is that it has the same power supply unit as V850, though.   I do not really care about other option.

From the list, I think Oppo PM-3 is the best contender for your music genres.

I have not tried the dragonfly yet, but Fulla is slightly bright and fast. That is all I can say.   You can always order dragonfly from Amazon to compare and return if you don't like it.

  I agreed with him. From my experience, I do not think that you will get much out of Mojo from the set up. Fiio X5 (2nd gen) is more than enough to drive all your headphones.   However, for the speakers, you might want to invest into a nice DAC and I think you will be all set!

I would like to recommend ATH-A900X as they have more detail than the open version, but the bass is not that good compare to the open version though.

If you just intend to use it with the laptop alone, you might want to consider Schiit Fulla or ibasso D-Zero as well.   They might be a bit more expensive, but I think they are good for their price.

  I have not tried m50x yet, but the (used) audio technica in your budget should be a900. I really love its mid.   Or if you are willing to spend more, HD600 with a set of DAC/AMP or just an AMP is also possible.
