I use the USB-C cable that came with the DMP-Z1 . You need to activate USB-DAC on the DMP-Z1 , connect it with the cable to your DAP and start streaming . You adjust the volume with the DMP-Z1 . Very easy

I made the opposite choice to yours, selling all my DAPs (neutral, transparent, etc.) to buy the WM1ZM2, which for me can give me a truly unique sound, warm analogue music, without having to give up the details. As always it is a matter of personal taste .

Me too, since I managed to get my WM1ZM2 JP version, I can't stop using it whenever possible. Incredibly musical and analogue sound, simply everything I've ever looked for in other DAPs. Sony sound literally won me over and I have a DMP-Z1 coming these days
