iFi audio GO pod + IEMs = brilliant wireless sound on the GO!

To be fair, Go Pod not the only product on the market plagued by such issues. For any of those few tws models with ldac support, if you look around in user forums those are full of complaints. BT audio has its limits and YMMV.

    Astell&Kern new flagship A&Ultima SP2000

Would be better to use a 4.4mm female to 2.5mm 3.5mm male adapter (PW Audio, DDHifi, Effect Audio) with a 4.4mm-4.4mm cable. These use the 3.5mm connector for ground, not available via 2.5mm otherwise.

I do notice the difference. If your iems are any good so should you. AAC from iPhone gets pretty close to LDAC 600/660, which is an achievement in itself. Its no match for 900/990.

Here's the list of devices that support Snapdragon Sound https://www.aptx.com/product-listing?aptx_type=766. Probably incomplete as it's fairly safe to assume most devices running Snapdragon 8 have it. I'll save you the trouble, no daps in that category. Your best bet is a smartphone. Try...

Might be down to TWS master-slave behavior peculiarities, but I’ll leave that to experts.

New TOL A&K DAP : the AK Ultima SP1000

Support for European customers is provided by DM Solution, based in Germany. Contact via dm@astellkernservice.de. They're quite responsive and helpful. In my case asked permission from AK hq for me to make the battery switch myself, received approval, sent me the battery and a detailed...

iFi audio GO pod + IEMs = brilliant wireless sound on the GO!

My findings - LDAC connection stability is much better indoors. Probably thanks to room walls acting as reflector for BT signal. Perhaps that's why some people are not noticing any issues in their usage scenarios. Outdoors connection stability dependent on obstacles between the source and the...

Shanling M0 Pro - Ultra-Portable Hi-Fi Player, Now With Balanced Output!

Worth mentioning perhaps is that the M0 Pro own 3.5mm balanced output is designed in the way that it can be used with 3.5mm unbalanced cable. The 3.5-4.4 adapter is meant strictly for connecting to 4.4mm balanced cables.

Shanling M0 Pro - Ultra-Portable Hi-Fi Player, Now With Balanced Output!

@RickInHouston how is LDAC HQ connection stability with Go Pod? Official claim is that the source requires Snapdragon Sound support for that to work.

What I mean is, if it's a compatibility issue then switching to another unit might not help. Having said that I’ve never had any issues with my w11 laptop.

I’d recommend trying with several sources first. (HiRes) connection stability is very source-dependent, Snapdragon Sound greatly improves it, or if missing try different quality settings.

@iFi audio worth notifying your peers perhaps that, unless Ifi Audio is radically changing its line of business, FB page was taken over last night.

It means they haven’t paired with each other yet. Take them out of the box, put close to each other, eventually they’ll go into pairing mode themselves.

I suggest to correct information on the product homepage, to avoid wrong expectations - it states "LDAC and LHDC (HWA) are both supported to their maximum”.

Ifi-gaia app version should be 1.2.7 and you need to be on the latest FW of course to disable touch.

In case someone hasn’t noticed - iOS Gaia app has been finally bumped to the feature level on par with its Android counterpart. You’ll have the same controls. @iFi audio cheers!

There are no shortcuts,Ifi should pick one option out of three: 1. Provide a convenient (for consumer) way to fix issues when they are encountered. 2. Invest a whole lot more into QA prior to releasing the product and then preach about seamless UX. It will never work though, there are always...

Not challenging the concept in the least bit, just - 1. The full set of even those basic settings is available on just one mobile platform out of the two mainstream ones. iOS users are limited to an app version released more than a year ago and by the looks of it not receiving any further...

What I’m saying is - if they don’t improve on current iteration, there’s absolutely no reason to believe the next one will be any better.

iFi audio GO pod + IEMs = brilliant wireless sound on the GO!

There’s nothing preventing Ifi giving current iteration at least a decent app support with controls configuration. All down to priorities and team capabilities.

Hey, question to those who's had some experience with connecting Go Pods to LHDC One - how did you achieve consistency in pairing across different sources (aindroid, win)? For me it's been kind of a hit and miss - sometimes it connects with no issues, sometimes have to try several times, switch...

You can just disconnect the pods first ( long press until short beep) and then connect from other device.
