That cable from oidio in the pictures is not balanced. Honestly too, you wont find a better cable than stock for less than its price which is around 500€. Dont worry for its look, it sounds nice and pairs well with susvaras. I have a meze cable that i think it was around 300€, before buying...- Sand Dan Glokta

The gt makes a big jump in clarity and soundstage being dual mono. And the volot (i havent heard it but i have a big respect for it as a soundstage lover) is quite more expensive than the soloist, its not fair to compare them. The 3x is in the league of the flux fa-10.- Sand Dan Glokta

How compares the phantom to the envy? In october im traveling to demo envy and cayin and i wish they have a top tier like riviera, only to listen, i cant go further than envy +we300b. But listen to the riviera or the trafomatic with my susvaras should be fascinating. Even those wonders sound...- Sand Dan Glokta

I would put oor in medium. Mentor should be better as the volot was already better. And i woluld put burson gt or voyager, they are better than orr in soundnews susvara reviews. https://soundnews.net/amplifiers/headphone-amps/burson-soloist-3x-grand-tourer-review/ Weakest point of oor seems to...- Sand Dan Glokta

My point is that i only buy what i like, what makes me enjoy. I dont care if susvara inverts the phase as they give me sensations like no other hp does. Science without purpose is good to know how the universe works. But here we are talking about the passion for listening to music in the most...- Sand Dan Glokta

I mean in a very small magnitude. Even this i dont use to listen to sawtooth waves, i find this boring (sorry i was kidding). My point is if my ears and my brain are enjoying i dont care for those questions. And i enjoy a lot more my susvaras than my momentum 3.- Sand Dan Glokta

Also that “phase issues” sound to me like ASR forum where they qualify the hp in base of a certain inaudible differences of only two or three aspects, which is nonsense since they are inaudibles, and forget the rest and most important things in reproducing music. Susvara is rating very poor 😂in...- Sand Dan Glokta

Some brands like sennheisser (which i love for their microphones) add a huge dip between 2,5 and 4k hz and another in the 8k hz to avoid harshness in bad mixed music, in their products which go to the crowd. Hence they are easy to listen but they loose that airy feeling. And boost sub and mid...- Sand Dan Glokta

For bass lovers an underpowered susvara can be disappointing. I understand your point. Even this, those 500-800€ hp cant compare. Underpowered susvaras sound its not susvaras fault as hifiman says 83db, 60ohms. They are really hard to feed. Plugged in my 1wpc fiio m15 they are unlisteneable...- Sand Dan Glokta

Yes i bought my topping (500€) because it was the best in measurement and dislike it a lot. Then i bought the gt (3000€) which measures bad and it sounds celestial. I wont take the bait again of miraculous measurements, they mean nothing when you are listening to music.- Sand Dan Glokta

I would like to know what hps give that fineness in such a huge and immersive soundstage. I have the senn momentum 3. Its amazing for its price. Senn is a great brand, but they cant compare to susvaras. Susvaras is another kind of experience.- Sand Dan Glokta

I dont think mz3 (nice amp) could run susvaras, but you can try. And if you have susvaras in mind, forget going HEKSE, you will end buying susvaras likewise. If you can buy a z10, go susvaras. Unless you have an expensive 3,5 mm cable, you can buy susvara open box 2,5 for 4k$ in the hifiman...- Sand Dan Glokta

I just have seen the other thread. Pads couldnt be more ugly. But silver coating will help in efficiency. Its known its sensitivity specs? Sorry i saw. 86db at 45 ohms. Not a big change. Still out of portable range.- Sand Dan Glokta

The design of the current susvaras in esthetic is meh. But when i look at the golden diaphragms , i have seen very few things more beautiful than that. If i would design next susvaras i would try to take profit of this. Assuming pure 24k gold will be the coating again, which means they will be...- Sand Dan Glokta

I have read before that egg shaped cups do a taller soundstage. Maybe its true. But honestly i don t find my arya v2 sounding bigger in height than my susvaras. What i have found is that the sound changes when cups move in orientation, with susvaras dont do this. I listened once to a he1000...- Sand Dan Glokta

Yes, maybe, but im very happy with the susvara soundstage with my 2,7k € amp. I m going envy with we300b in autumn. But i still recommend the burson or something similar like mentor with susvaras, enough to really enjoy.- Sand Dan Glokta

I havn t heard caldera. Does it has the huge susvara soundstage? For me soundstage is main thing in audiophilia. I mean why another hp have to sound better with the same chain? (Assuming we have the power susvara needs and other cans dont)- Sand Dan Glokta

Susvara still souds good in an average chain imo, just give it the power it needs for its sensitivity specs. Its an easy hp to listen, very musical even with bad recorded music, and has a beautiful soundstage. The average chain will be the same impact on every top hp, just be sure you have...- Sand Dan Glokta
