Do SM3 v2s just image the music differently or are mine broken? How do I test? Right side seems weak
They are broken, on extended use with my SM3's I can have the volume up to max on my sansa clip zip and I may just hear a whisper. The next day when I go to use them they are temporarily back to normal. Your pair are just in the early stages of crapping themselves. I'm on my second set of SM3's...- tisb0b

Kingrex UD384 asynchronous USB DAC (32bit/384Khz) - Initial Impressions
It's ok I just remembered about this thread now as I'm not nearly as active on head-fi as I once was. ;D Anyways thanks for the detailed reply. I think I will look into buying an Audiophilleo 2 in the future. Quote:- tisb0b

The closest thing to a fun toy I can bring along is my recently acquired Peachtree iNova with rosewood finish. Although the only headphones I own are my trusty Ultrasone Pro900's. Quote:- tisb0b

Anybody tried an internal rewire of the LCD-2?
Its probably glued in and by attempting to remove it you risk cracking the wood which is fragile enough as it is.- tisb0b

Audio-gd need to stop lying to their customers. (and taking them for fools)
If this thread is any indication then his aim is way off the mark and he would be better served by consolidating his product lines and limiting customization to a select few of his high end products. Quote:- tisb0b

Pictures Of Your High End System (Please see the first pages for examples of what should be posted here)
Well what do you know you spend enough time on head-fi and in this hobby and you eventually obtain something that could be classified as 'high end'. Stagedac -> Lightspeed attenuator -> NAD C370 -> Orpheus Apollo loud speakers. The speakers are made by an Australian company and were pretty much...- tisb0b

High vs low wattage audiophile speaker amps
I've searched and found no answers so here I am. I've noticed that a lot of audiophile grade speaker amps seem to have rather low wattage numbers. Take the Leben CS300XS for example its output is only rated for 2x15W and yet costs 3k. My NAD C370 is rated for 120W and only set me back $400. What...- tisb0b
