I may have the Immanis as soon as Saturday (GO, :fingers_crossed:UPS!) and I have had the OG Sus for 3 years. I have no ribbon headphone experience at all so I may need some time to figure out the Raal or........ it will be stunning and jaw dropping from the first track, we'll see! I'm not good...

I just got an update from UPS that my Immanis may indeed be arriving Saturday! I've mentioned this before........I have never heard any of the Raal hp so I am excited but not sure what to expect with all planar hp: Sus, LCD-5 and tungsten DS.

I do love bass but without giving up detail and clarity. 'Too warm and smoothed over' is not for me. I may receive my Immanis tomorrow and will see if the DAVE, paired with Envy + Elrog TM300B is a combo with great bass as well as detail.

I tend to put stock in the opinion of HeadFiers I have been following for years. I trust their ears and also their honesty in a post or review. Anyone can post anything here and that's fine. We all have opinions and it's up to us to judge who is worth reading and then believing what they post!

If the Sus OG 'tanks' in measurements, it hasn't meant a thing to my enjoyment of them. I knew from the very first track on day one that the Sus were special. As always, YMMV. I have Immanis ordered and expect it to be amazing hp. If I find the SusUv is indeed a better Sus and a good stable...

Yes, these look like the thickness my Sus stock pads. The Dekoni I received were way thinner. My ears never touched with the OEM Sus pads and did with the single Dekoni pad pair I tried.

Yup, the TM are expensive but worth it!

I tried those 'F' Sheep skin Dekoni pads with my Sus and my ears hit. My OEM Sus pads were thicker and I returned the Dekoni. I recall some owners reporting they had thinner pads on their Sus.

Do you have the OG Sus? Kind of curious how they compare in SQ and wonder if the Susan pads are thinner than the OG Sus.

I will be getting the Immanis and have the Sus, but would consider adding the Susun (I LIKE that!) as well.

I am currently a Sus boy and hope to be a Immanis boy very soon! Without hearing the Raal, think I'd like to stay in both camps unless the Raal is so good that the Sus simply gathers dust. As @Kiats suggests, I may get both!!!

All great tubes! I have the TM in the Envy and have used the Miniwatt or metal base GZ34 and A2900 in other amps along the way.
