USB-C to 3.5mm adapters (DAC) - Let's find the best
I've read through the last month or so of posts and just wanted to ask (since I'm getting a phone without a headphone jack for the first time) - is this my best choice below $50 or so, for listening only to IEMs which my Samsung S10e powers just fine...- nyonya

Looking to get into headphones
Hmm, I'm not trying to get something very bass-heavy. Others on the forum have described them as relatively neutral with a bass that's slightly boosted, is that not the way you hear them at all? Does anyone have experience with the MEElectronics Air-Fi Matrix2 AF62 bluetooth headphones...- nyonya

Looking to get into headphones
Could you just give me a quick overview of how they differ? From what I've read they're both considered pretty neutral phones with a large soundstage for a closed back headphone. Is that not correct?- nyonya

I see. Would you say its sound signature is different also, or is it basically a straight upgrade?- nyonya

Looking to get into headphones
Hi everyone, I've been a Head-Fi member for quite a while, and all my travels so far have been in the land of IEMs. Now that I'm happy with my setup and think I have a good idea of the sound signature I like, I'd like to try to get a good pair of headphones, but as I'll still be mainly using...- nyonya

Fender IEM (Aurisonics) Impressions, Reviews & Discussions Thread
Quote: I've never heard the ASG-1.2, but the bass on my AS-2 prototype is anything but muddy and overpowering - and I really don't like noticeably boosted bass. If you're comfortable with the amount of bass produced by the GR07 you should be happy with the AS-2. The adjustable bass port...- nyonya

Fender IEM (Aurisonics) Impressions, Reviews & Discussions Thread
Quote: I don't think I can say anything more about the soundstage/imaging than I have already. Quote: Yes, I think the drums all sound powerful (but not overbearing) and very clean - in fact, I think the GR07 is ever so slightly softer in the drum impact, which is high...- nyonya

Fender IEM (Aurisonics) Impressions, Reviews & Discussions Thread
Quote: I'm auditioning the universal demo of the AS-2s - I don't believe there will be different custom AS-2 versions, but Dale can comment on that. I feel they sound very natural and don't color the music much - if you're asking whether they're analytical IEMs I don't think I'd say...- nyonya

Fender IEM (Aurisonics) Impressions, Reviews & Discussions Thread
Quote: Yes, I do mean the rest of the spectrum - at my comfortable listening volume bass was too overbearing on those, and even greater in quantity on the UM3X. I feel like the AS-2 has a balance very similar to the GR07s. Still can't say for sure about the layering aspect, but I do...- nyonya

Fender IEM (Aurisonics) Impressions, Reviews & Discussions Thread
Quote: I do think that cymbals sound very natural on these - have the proper weight, a bit more than the GR07 in comparison I feel. Every bit of percussion sounds very defined and powerful - it's a bit hard to describe, but I put it down to the great sub-bass and separation. It is not...- nyonya

Fender IEM (Aurisonics) Impressions, Reviews & Discussions Thread
Quote: I'm not sure how to properly describe mids - I will say I find nothing lacking in the AS-2s' mids, and I think they're basically perfectly placed in the spectrum - I had never thought the GR07s' mids to be recessed, but they're undoubtedly farther back than the AS-2s'. I haven't...- nyonya

Fender IEM (Aurisonics) Impressions, Reviews & Discussions Thread
Hi all, I'm currently auditioning a demo unit of the AS-2s - just thought I'd share some thoughts. I don't have the depth of experience that members like ericp10 and FlySweep have, so I'd think their opinions should carry more weight. Anyways, here's a short comparison of the AS-2s vs. my...- nyonya

AURISONICS "GET YOUR BASS ON" CONTEST
I should have serial #0001 of the ASG-2 because it would finally end my Head-Fi journey into IEMs, which started with a Creative EP-630, moved to a triple-driver CIEM, and has proceeded through most of the top tier universals. If I could have a comfortable, isolating IEM that had bass...- nyonya
