My Svanar haven't been getting much love lately - not sure why. Just moved on to new things I guess. I took them out over the weekend and charged them up. Man they are sweet sounding in hifi mode. Not really sure why I put them away. I was going to sell them but now I think I might keep them.

Cheapest set on eBay is $339 plus tax from Japan. I think my price is fair. Thanks for the interest.

I don’t think these will suit you. But I’ve been wrong before. Clean and crisp.

The Aviots do seem to sound better over LDAC on my Pixel by a noticeable amount. That’s not usually something I notice. Unfortunately lots of drop outs on LDAC at best bitrate. So not sure it’s a practical solution.

Never been a believer in that but maybe. My ears have adjusted and I am starting to "get it" with the Aviots. But sadly they lack low thump so they will be moving on to a new home. Everything else is really good. Please educate me on this.

Good post. What are your thoughts on the bass?

The bass is tight, fast and punchy. Wish I could figure out how to get that 10mm DD to open up and offer some rumble.

Including giant wide nozzles. I'm not sure the Triumph has a wider soundstage than the Aviot but it does have more bass quantity. If anyone in the US, is interested, I'll pass the Aviots along for $265 shipped. PM me. I think my personal taste leans toward the Triumph but I can see how...

Changed tips, added a bass shelf, things have improved. They definitely aren't bass monsters but they do sound lovely particularly with good source material. I think they have the widest soundstage I've heard on a TWS.
