I think a comparison between it and something like Envy, Ha-300b, Wa-23 or if we go higher up Red October, Wa-33, AIC-10 with Sus will give a good idea of what to expect- Leto Dal

Volume is not all that we want from Susvara. Can it drive Susvara with close to Caldera levels of heft? If not, it might be not quite there for this can.- Leto Dal

Will come down to how Susun changes with different chains or if it has a stock heavier tuning like Caldera that doesnt change much with the chain. Susvara OG is like a mirror reflecting what your rig does. It has a ton of heft and weight to the notes on the right rig - if its what you are going...- Leto Dal

Might be a better synergy with your chain too. I find stock cable pretty horrible on mine, it takes away the note weight, which is fatal for Sus imho.- Leto Dal

What exactly would you point out with the stock cable? It sounds less full, with less note weight and less mid forward than my Noir to me. Noir got some hologpraphy going that I miss with stock. So yeah not sure why you prefer it? :D- Leto Dal

Another thing I am curious about, how does SP3000T compete with N30LE and N8ii now after you have owned it for a while? SP3000T and LP6 Pro HK are the things I am considering atm as replacement for my N8ii- Leto Dal

A question, does this impressions of @twister6 still hold: (P+/Tube/AB) vs L&P P6 Pro – This comparison was another surprise, and it took me over a dozen of times going back and forth, comparing these two. The soundstage is nearly identical, maybe with N8ii being a touch wider, but it is hard...- Leto Dal

Those metal base Sylvanias are pretty. Listening right now to Sylvanias 6sn7w which are supposed to sound identical - probably my favourite pairing with WE300b so far.- Leto Dal

You definitly want to use HQP or punchy tubes if you go with May, its a very smooth dac in NOS, but the technicalities and overall presentation is leaugues above Wandla. I highly advice to avoid Wandla with Envy, it will hold it back. A lot.- Leto Dal

While I agree about the technical perfomance (AIC has slgithly higher res and significantly more punch and far better lows extension) I strongly disagree about musicality. Thats the only factor that would hold me back buying an AIC and considering it an upgrade over Envy in my chain. RO on the...- Leto Dal

Any reason why you want to avoid tubes? Havent heard headinia, but Envy well, it was a mindblowing experience for me with Sus after Bliss.- Leto Dal

Zähl HE-1 might do the trick but would advice to go for Envy or Red October. Possibly AiC-10- Leto Dal

Did you hear AIC with Sus or are the kmpression based mainly on 1266? Since my enthusiasm over AIC went down a bit after my 6h with. Its was great but not mindblowingly 15k great with Sus- Leto Dal

AIC certainly has an edge in detail retrieval, punch and bass extension over Envy, just not by a margin it would make me take it over what Envy brings to the table with We300b mids and the overal coherent soundscape that feels just right to my ear.- Leto Dal

Did you hear the Envy again after burn in btw? I spent half a day with AIC-10 recently (May as source) and while I liked a lot what I heard, but I wouldn’t say its a league above my carefully adjusted Envy chain, it packs more punch, and has an edge with detail retrieval but I wouldn't trade...- Leto Dal

The term for it is a treble peak. I am sensetive to peaks at 6k and nope, no peaks with Immanis there on Envy I could report.- Leto Dal
