Holo Audio May DAC Speculation
I'm very grateful for your comment, Frankie, because it puts the differences between DACs into perspective for me. The Holo May remains very interesting for me, as does the Cord Hugo TT2, because I'm so used to the sound of Chord DACs. Thanks again, Frankie.- gryphonos

Holo Audio May DAC Speculation
Hi @Frankie D, would you (as @GoldenSound on one of the next pages in this thread) pick the Holo May LEVEL 2 or KTE over the Dave or over the Rockna Wavedream, respectively, even if you consider the constellation that the respective DAC is fed to a a Feliks Envy tube amp, that sounds warmer...- gryphonos

Your comments regarding the fact that Wandla as a warm-sounding DAC does not form the optimal symbiosis with a tube amplifier, sound convincing to me. Thanks.- gryphonos

Dear @Deezel177 , this was absolutely brilliant because you captured all key aspects of psychoacoustics and explained them in a didactically perfect way. "What we see in our heads when we listen (...) it's a psychological interpretation of the sounds we hear." Great. I am your fan!- gryphonos

Feliks Audio ENVY
@ThanatosVI and @Leto Dal , want to thank both of you for your worthwhile comments: Since I wouldn't want to go for a Dave/MScaler a second time, it's not because of the sound which is the reference to my ears, but rather because of the investment, I would define the price range to 4k-6k. The...- gryphonos

Feliks Audio ENVY
Since I would like to complement the Feliks Envy with a dac that it harmonises with, I would like to ask for your help. I have read the Wandla (GSE) would make up for a good pairing with the Envy. Which other dacs would you guys think of? I could move my Blu2Dave combo from my 2-channel setup...- gryphonos

RAAL 1995 Immanis
Awaiting my Immanis and being quite a novice on this field I would like to know where the mentioned filters will be applied to? On my RS8 dap I can for instance apply a convolution plugin as a file I have downloaded before which can alter the sound significantly. Or are the filters you talked...- gryphonos

Hi, it's a long time since I had installed the main plugins. Now, I downloaded the three "new" plugins mentioned above and transferred them in to the plugins folder on my RS8. How can I make these new plugins appear on the bottom of the Plugins page? Thanks in advance for your support!- gryphonos

My impression is they didn't, because some managed to let the main topic "Subtonic STORM" completely disappear from this thread. Just my 2 cents- gryphonos

I have to agree very much and would also kindly suggest to move the last ongoing discussion in case of its continuation into a separate thread. This thread has already or is at least going to loose its intended focus.- gryphonos

Hi @Kiats are you using the Trailli with its OG cable? Lately I was listening to Trailli via LPGT Ti but more and more preferred the P6Pro Ti99 over it. I had equipped Trailli with the Magnus 4-wire cable and loved the clean and even sound which allows highs to shine with more extension and...- gryphonos

Hi, can you please tell us what kind of a cable the Ulan 8-wire is? Thank you. From my personal perspective I judge the Trailli JP to belong to that group that sounds great out of the Dave. I am still searching for a convenient adapter or adapter cable solution.- gryphonos
