Yeh. They stopped accepting international mastercard at some point a little while ago but I heard it's back to normal now (although their website says there still may be some issues...) http://www.sevenbank.co.jp/intlcard/card2.html- jjinh

Tokyo 2014 Spring Fujiya Avic Headphone Festival May 10-11
I always miss out on being in town when HF meets are happening... this year I leave Tokyo before this meet but arrive home too late for the one in Sydney in early May! Regarding the above: - Personally I'd take a minimum amount of cash and withdraw it as required. ATMs that take...- jjinh

They shouldnt have even bothered with the remake in the first place. I dont understand why some people can't read and watch a movie at the same time (saw a poster for Oldboy when I watched Thor 2 last week - not looking forward to that... plus the first film of the vengeance trilogy was...- jjinh

The non-google translated website looks okay to me. You can also try Yodobashi in Akiba among other places.- jjinh

I could have guessed that from the file name! Did you get a mk1 or mk2? I'm also thinking of getting one :) Since we were recently talking bokeh, I took this during my regular morning stroll. Straight out of the camera the petals look a bit surreal.- jjinh

Thor: The Dark World 6/10. Entertaining enough, but nothing special. Did you stay until the end? Hint to those who are planning to see Thor 2 - stay to the very very end ;)- jjinh

Stax and Dynamic Rig Owners: How much head-time on each rig?
So you've checked every house within a 50 mile radius? In that case maybe put some more fuel in your car so you can drive a little bit further. You could also consider moving house or buying a pair of the sr-009s to listen to.- jjinh

The Stax Thread III
I suppose you dont have any labels on your cardboard box (I dont mean the 'carbon fiber' case)? Methinks they may have replaced the headband arc on your pair.- jjinh

What book are you reading right now?
I also liked The Perfect Storm. If you like maritime-based non-fiction I recommend In The Heart Of The Sea by Nathaniel Philbrick - it's about these people who drift in the sea for 90 days after their whaling ship was sunk by an angry whale (the true events that inspired Moby Dick)- jjinh

If you like weird (and sometimes creepy) anime that are also good and enjoyable to watch find some films by Satoshi Kon, e.g. Paprika. I watched Predators (2010) on the weekend 'cause it was on tv... I'll be generous and give it 3/10.- jjinh

The Entry Level Stax Thread
Everyone has a slightly different shaped head so just bend them so they fit you and your ears... the arcs are made of metal so if you make a mistake it shouldnt be too much trouble to adjust them or start again. Re 404LEs - only 1000 pairs were made, that's why they're rare. In...- jjinh

Travelling with two passports
I've heard you shouldnt go about waving multiple passports at immigration and passport control... maybe select the one you want to use and leave the other one in your bag. Not sure where you plan on travelling in Europe but there are no border controls when traveling between the 26 or so...- jjinh
