Had a listen to these in Munich and they sounded excellent, it was only a brief demo so don't take my words as gospel. They are well priced and give a very dynamic sound that was a little extra oomph low down which is great for drummers/bassists etc...

Actually more similar to the HD650 I think, but yeah smoother than the 109 Pro.

The FT5 are smoother, warmer and more laid back (especially with the velour pads) - they complement the crisper and more energetic 109 Pro quite well.

Susvara is also anything but sharp, but that's getting off topic ;)

I did briefly mention that the sound staging isn't huge but, the good separation and layering makes up for this a bit. They're not a big and airy headphone, they do have a slightly more intimate presentation.
