I have to turn it to 10 to feel a descent bass with the He400se. 😵💫 I asked a carpenter to build it, and the amp i use for headphones exclusively, is the one on the first picture. The other ones on the rack, I alternate with the speakers. You'll be surprised with the sound quality of some...- Paco ignacio

"New" headphone amp, Sansui Au-317. I replaced the Fiio K7 and this one is far superior. Currently using the K7 as a dac only. And my "new" Hi-Fi rack.- Paco ignacio

Post the last thing you bought. Oh fun!
Well, they are, in a way... Their last production of amplifiers were around 2001-2005, and then went out of business in 2014. Nowadays some other companies (under the Sansui brand) manufacture Smart Tv's and monitors. By the way, that Eizo monitor looks great, i'm wanting to upgrade mine...- Paco ignacio

Oh, no, it's far from new. I should've said "new" amp. 🥴 It looks like new for it's age, but this model was made around 77-79.- Paco ignacio

I still got my 27" CRT TV; it's great but weights like a ton and sounds surprisingly good thanks to the subwoofer.- Paco ignacio

Cheap mini PC for listening music only
I didn't want to use a Pc, so i made a streamer using a Raspberry Pi 4, a 7" touchscreen and a case. Using Volumio as the OS, i can control it via tablet or cellphone as well. I store my files on a M.2 SSD connected through an Usb to the Raspberry and it can access files via NAS too. All of...- Paco ignacio

At last, it arrived, my first Sansui. I can't believe how good this thing sounds with only 30w of power, even better than my Pioneer Sa 8500; more presence, separation and clarity overall. I'm searching already for my next Sansui.- Paco ignacio

FiiO K7/K7BT Desktop DAC&Headphone AMP Discussion | XLR Balance | Dual THX AAA | Xmos | ...
Thanks for the response. How do the E70 sounds to you compared to the K7? In fact i bought the E70 on black friday on Aliexpress but the seller got out of stock and i got refunded. I'm thinking of changing the K7 because i no longer use the amp section, only the dac one.- Paco ignacio

Upgrading from Fiio K7 to only Dac
Hi. As the title says, i want to upgrade to a Dac only cause i no longer use the Fiio K7 amplifier. I'm considering the Topping E70; do you think it would be a suitable upgrade? Any recommendation within that price range will be welcome.- Paco ignacio
