Actually, look again (I downloaded the manual from the web site) - the layout is weird. They went 1v is red, 3v is blue, 2v is green. Who knows why it's not in order.

I recently got a Qutest DAC for the second time and it came with a white user manual that said v2.0. This manual also says the 2 V output is blue instead of green. Has anyone else also got this manual with the qutest? I recall Chord used to include a black manual in the past.

Same here! I had the DMP-A6 Master Edition, and Qutest is a significant upgrade to the internal DAC (which is an average one), I sold it and bought the STD edition just to use it as streamer.

I have the Chord Qutest and it is significantly better than the DAC in the A6.

I love Geshelli so much. They're such sweet people. I have had such a human experience working with them. To me in my system the J2S 4499ex with sparkos opamps was so close to the Chord Qutest that I sold my Qutest. They are not the same by any means but the difference was not worth having both...

Just saw this and not sure if a new DAC is still of interest. Anyway, I’ve had the Qutest and auditioned the Frerot. My suggestion is actually the Mojo 2 in desktop mode. It’s very, very hard to beat for a reasonable amount of money (especially if you EQ).
