is there a quality difference on audio with iphones? bluetooth vs usb-c to lightning cable? does that activate apple lossless audio? the maxwells have its own onboard DAC?

yea i was looking at the S series but they did away with the card slot, so its gonna be ( if i switch ) an A53 or a73

which model did you get? i have the 12 pro max, love that size, but i don’t wanna pay over a grand again, the S23+ and ultra are the right size, not the right price. what about the A53 ?

comparing my iphone to my samsung there’s a difference in sound quality. it’s noticeable. the samsung is better.

the standard app, i even converted some FLAC files to ALAC, also tried the evermusic app to play files on the phone. so quality should be there...,

when you do can you report back if you notice a difference? just wanna make sure im not crazy. im guessing the only codec apple is using is the old SBC bluetooth, hadnt researched it yet. but i know as soon as i connect to the samsun tablet in settings LDAC defaults on.

has anyone noticed a difference in audio quaility from an iphone to an android phone? its drastic to me, i have a pro max 12 and a galaxy 7 tablet. guess its the use of the LDAC codec on the samsung thats making the difference? does every Android phone use/have LDAC support if this is the case...

so this will bypass apple’s horrible bluetooth codecs? and just pass thru the sound to the dongle right? my samsung tablet sounds way better on bluetooth than my iphone.

does the tempest sound better than atmos on the pc? have any instructions on how to do this?
