When someone is not happy with the amount of bass in an IEM, he always says that his music is electronic, or that his music relies too much on bass, and that is why he is not satisfied. However, my experience is always the opposite. For example, for me the Voltage has enough bass on all albums...

I like the Voltage very much, but I imagine it with the U4s bass, and it would be almost perfect 🤤

Great review! Include a comparison with Voltage, now that you can

I wouldn't know what to tell you, these IEMs are at the top of my favorites list. I haven't tried much better IEMs than these. Among the IEMs that I have tested, the perfect IEM could be made with a mix of the bass of the U4s, the mids of the Voltage, and the treble of the Neon Pro.

I am referring to the classic Azla Sedna Earfit, prior to the rest of the models they have released such as Xelastec, Crystal, Max. They would be these from here...

I had the Monarch MK3 but I sold it some weeks ago, but I can compare them from memory: The Voltage has a more natural sound, at first. The Monarch MK3 is much more V-shaped, boosting the bass and treble above the Voltage. BASS: For my taste, the Monarch Mk3 has too much bass quantity, and not...

Azla Sedna Earfit works perfectly well with all 64audio IEMs. I am using the normal version with my U4s, but the Short version works really well too.

64 Audio Introduces: Aspire 4 Professional Universal In-Ear Monitors

As a big fan of the U4s, I can say that you don't need more than 4 drivers to enjoy your music and be happy. I have (and have had) IEMs with much more drivers, and they are not better than the U4s. I am not a musician or a professional, but I wish I can try the Aspire 4 some day.

As @Erkil wisely said, it is hard to dislike Voltage. It is beautifully tuned, and it sounds great. Clearly in my top 3. I want to clarify that all my possible negative comments about any device are because I am very critical of everything, and especially with sound issues or with devices that...

When it comes to listening to music, it's a lot more work to change a switch (and a lot more prone to failure) than to activate an EQ filter. And the EQ filter works better 99% of the time.

I have tried 1 down and now I can't go with 1 up again. It sounds bloated to me that way (too much low mids), much cleaner with 1 down...

I am trying right now. And yes, I think I prefer switch 1 down... I still need a bit of extra upper treble (and maybe subbass),but after a time is true that my ears get used to the sound. I think I will let this setup with switch 1 down and switch 2 up,and I will use my UAPP EQ when I want: -...

Yes, I have both switches up/on. I am using a copper/silver cable. I have 2 cables with pure silver in it, I have tried both, and I have left the one that sounds better. I usually don't listen differences with cables (or too small differences to be appreciated without effort), but anyway I am...

I have the Voltage, and had the Monarch MK3 (I sold it some weeks ago). I don't know if that is good enough, but I think Hype 4 and MMk3 are close enough. I think Voltage sounds much more natural than MMk3. MMk3 has too much bass for me, and too much treble too. Voltage has the perfect amount...

The amplifier Whiteil46 is talking about is not the official Shure KSE amplifier. It is another with a balanced 4.4mm input.

The last week I've been listening to the new Penon Voltage for quite some time. Now with more listening time, I can say the Voltage is almost perfect to my ears. I have been able to alleviate the lack of upper treble that I noticed in the first days with a copper/silver cable, and the A&K...

For me, it still lacks air / high treble to be considered TOTL. At least, with my most common sources. It is better with the A&K CA1000, it gives Voltage some extra air. Shame the A&K is not as portable as the DX160.
