Technically, he’s not wrong. The filtering really only affects ultra-high frequencies. Quite arguably, it is extremely difficult to detect the differences, if your equipment can even reproduce said differences. -Ed

I did not try testing filters. I don't think it was listed as fixed. I did try testing the global balance control. It still didn't work for me--possibly a consequence of using an external DAC. It is not a huge deal for me, as the balance plugin still works. -Ed

Yes, I shut mine off when I saw in this thread that 1.4 is out, and turned it back on, and it still says I am already on current/latest (despite only being on 1.3). Not sure what else to do/try. I don’t know how many pages back I have to go in this thread to attempt to find a manual download...

@Joe Bloggs the global PEQ as well as HiByMusic’s own PEQ seem to get bypassed when playing bitperfect DSD directly from HiByMusic. Is there any way for the PEQ to get applied when playing bitperfect DSD to an external DAC? -Ed
