Agreed. I have heard several different ACs with several different wood types and there is definitely a discernible difference. Less with the open backs to my ears.

It is a very hard wood. Certainly very beautiful. I am unsure how much it changes the sound of a ZMF headphone. My guess is that it would make a bigger difference on their closed backs than open backs where I think wood type makes very little difference to the sound. With closed backs it seems...

I use a Core Technology USBe Perfect. I use the Soul's USB and my USBe Perfect into my Roon NUC and then from the Soul into the NUC. The Soul's USB is better than the Roon NUC's USB. The sound is tremendous.
