I was close to buying the Shanling EM600, but when they didn't even discount it at Linsoul I decided to go with the TSMR Zodiac.

I have a number of iems and headphones, but I have never used EQ. Where can I find the best and simple instructions on learning to use EQ?

I have done about enough damage on my end. I bought a $1349 (TSMR Zodiac) 2020 iem for $399 plus the Raptgo Bridge for $29. I had reserved some money for this sale, but I out did myself. I will attempt to wait on any more major buys until 11/11.

Based on Crinacle's review, and the general shortcomings of all BA sets, it sounds like the Yanyin Canon 2 and Shanling ME600 would have overall better sound quality.

My understanding is the Zodiac is vented.

What are the typical shortcomings of all BA sets?

I realize the Tansio Mirai Zodiac is an older iem, all BA, and used to cost over $1300. Is it better than the iems like the Pilgrim, Dusk 2, Davinci, or Shanling ME600? Would it be worth $399?

Mixing up the music on Project M. Black Keys, Elbow, Hania Rani, Royksopp, Little Dragon, Broken Bells, Franz Ferdinand, Oasis, Bruce Cockburn, "old" Coldplay, Johnny Cash, Bach, Queens of the Stone Age, and Metallica, etc. al. Did I miss a genre?

Listening to the Magic City Hippies, Capyac, Franc Moody, and Zoe Keating on the cello (I recommend). All of these bands are funk except Keating, and there are strong elements of bass in combination with the Cello. Good rumble, details, just good pleasing sound on Project M.

Project M - two words: "Oh Yeah"! The details and bass are just fine. It took me a minute to get a decent seal, but once there, nice.

I am not hearing anyone talk about the Tansio Mirai TSMR-12 ZODIAC, which is in the $499 bracket/flash sale. Anyone have this iem. It retails for over $1200.
