I tested the DX180 against the Hiby R6 III last night and found the ibasso to sound more natural, less congested. Better instrument separation I guess. Also feel you get more of that 3D effect whatever that is called (sorry not an audiophile reviewer). I tested playing the same playlist on...

I know I’m jumping the gun a little but does anyone know the type of battery that’s in the dx180, where you’d source one? Also is anyone worrying about using the battery care feature considering the battery is replaceable? I’m considering not bothering with it what are y’all thoughts?

I’ve been testing my DX180 for a couple of days. Sounds great and no major issues but for some reason the audio sometimes starts in the right channel before working in both channels. Is that normal? Also my unit has a slightly loose volume wheel, not sure if anyone else has noticed this on...

USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP): 24- and 32-bit playback, ubiquitous USB audio support for Android

Would anyone know if there is any setting to enable the ability to scan through a track using the buttons on my dap? Every other app on my dap lets me except for uapp

I ordered the DX180 as a replacement to the flaming pile of dap called the R6 III. Should be getting it in the mail tomorrow. Just curious if anyone knows where we would buy the replacement battery for this dap or if anyone has opened the back to have a gander?

Thank you for checking :) That’s interesting the hiby app lets you do this I didn’t understand if it’s the player limiting this ability or the software or maybe both… I always assumed any dap would allow this but was surprised when my Hiby R6 3 doesn’t do it unless the screen is on. I was...

Hello can someone who has the DX180 please tell me if you can scan through a single song while holding the physical skip forward/backward buttons? Sony daps have this feature but other daps I’ve tried don’t let you do this for some reason.

Does the ibasso have a system wide PEQ? Also is it possible to skip (scan) through a track by holding the physical forward/reverse buttons on the ibasso? I was surprised this may not be a feature on daps other than Sony. My Hiby r6 3 doesn’t allow me to scan through a track for some reason but...

HiBy R6 III (Gen 3) Android digital audio player, Dual ES9038Q2M, Class A / AB amplification switch, Snapdragon 665, Open Android 12 OS, DSD512 / PCM768

@Joe Bloggs hi can you tell me if the popping clicking sounds are normal for this player or is there a problem with mine? Also is the stutter when skipping some songs normal for the player? Like it will replay a split second of the song before it skips to next track. As I mentioned earlier...

HiBy R6 III (Gen 3) Android digital audio player, Dual ES9038Q2M, Class A / AB amplification switch, Snapdragon 665, Open Android 12 OS, DSD512 / PCM768

@Joe Bloggs I was just playing with the settings in the Hiby app and turned on sample rate limiting. This seems to have stopped the crackling/popping. I then turned the same setting on in the system settings and turned it off on the Hiby app and tried playing some music but the problem returned...

Thanks. I’ll try that tonight. Should I update the player after resetting? And just to clarify, should I be getting any clicking/cracking at all? Ive been reading some old posts and it seems some people are getting at least a slight clicking noise when skipping tracks and some aren’t getting...

Ok thanks. Not sure if you saw my comment about the poweramp app I don’t think that’s normal as I couldn’t find any info about my specific problem. Just to mention the cracking sound when changing tracks is more emphasised when sample rate of the song changes, sometimes really bad when I get...

Yes, MSEB and/or PEQ, but the problem also happens without any turned on. I noticed it improved by turning off battery saver, so now there’s no crack sound when turning the screen on/off but still getting it changing tracks, sometimes it gets quite loud much louder than the music volume. Also...

I tried out poweramp app and it seems it allows me to scan through a single song unlike the Hiby player so I guess it’s just app dependent. I was having issues getting the app working properly though because when I skip songs it does some weird things… When I press next track it will repeat...

Getting crackling when adjusting some settings like dark theme toggle, also sometimes turning the screen on and off I hear it soon after turning music off, occasionally occurs in the middle of some songs randomly. Apart from the crackling problem the player sounds really good tho, I’d like to...

So far I’ve tried HD660s high gain and Hype 4 low. Getting it on both when changing tracks. Volume around 80 Also asking if it’s somehow possible to skip through a single track without the screen on?
