Same here! I had the DMP-A6 Master Edition, and Qutest is a significant upgrade to the internal DAC (which is an average one), I sold it and bought the STD edition just to use it as streamer.

Let's hope they have stock during July... Laiv being a new company, first product, high standards, might not be producing at the speed they expected initially.

In my case, audiophonics just canceled the order, there were no option to wait... my feeling is that Laiv won't be suppling them at all.

Thanks for the support @Zmey69 , really appreciated! I was able to follow all the steps and execute them, but unfortuneatly the issue wasn't solve, must be a hardware problem, I am contacting AK support, to see how can this be fixed.

I got mines (phillips E80cc) through ebay, they were being sold separetly but the measurements were quite similar. I was told by a head-fier that the HA-3A has auto bias, so it would correct any differences between tubes. Gladly I don't percieve any difference in sound between channels.

Listened a few hours today to the HE1000 stealth and I have to say there is an improvement in SQ vs my 12AU7 Raytheon, but not a step change as I've experienced with with ZMF AO. I have to say, that I find the HE1000 Stealth is such a great HP, they are really versatile and easy to find...

but power (assuming you are speaking about dB/volume) is not something to worry about with HA-3A, never used volume knob above 50%, normally 25% is loud enough... and I'm using RCAs, if you use XLR interlinks to XLR output (there are 3 gain modes), probably there is no headphones that can't be...

I was about to sell it before starting tube rolling…I found the stock tubes to be a bit harsh, now I got a much more warm, clear and resolving, nowadays sound quality has a massive jump. I never tried the envy, can’t help you on that!
