D16 and 320max are based on completely different DAC architectures. They sound quite different to my ears.

I settled on CFA3 and finally Riviera AIC-10, when after years I found one I could afford. I also preferred the Chord hugo2 with it to the TAZ.

Highly subjective. I personally didn’t enjoy the pairing and after 6 months passed it on. I much preferred the MDR with other amps, after trying many.

Agreed. @Nostoi had suggested in an old thread to look into Pbthal for quality sourced vinyl rips, and I found quite a few that are great.

Has anyone been listening to vinyl rips on their M2s? Wondering what settings are you all using for that specific use case. I tend to leave vinyl off, and remaster to dsd.

It’s also done BEFORE assembly. You’d be melting the internal soldering points, and most likely damaging the driver
