You are absolutely right about the chain! But Burson is bright :ksc75smile: ...Violetric is warm...SPL Phonitor XE neutral/slightly warm..etc.. Everything matters in the chain and changes the sound...but... just as a note, because I've seen how a lot of folks are very, very sensitive/gentle! :)...

I have TA-26S, but there is a new version, TA-66, and it seems to be more tubey! I am happy with 26S, but 66 has really good user responses, too! And it's $50-$60 cheaper than 26S. Cheers!

I have Burson Conductor 3X Reference...and it is a great amp. But, as you probably already know, it does have a brighter sound and some headphones are not the best match. I bought it because of that, and it's just a note to remember. For example, Sennheiser HD800S is not the best match...

That is completely understandable... I do hear that, too; sometimes, I think 60 min is on the borderline; 90 min would be even greater. It's the same thing I noticed with Auris HA-2 SF, too. But 45-60 min would be ideal to remember to turn the amp on before listening. GL KT88 are still on the...

I have that amp, and it works perfectly well with Sennheisers. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be good for HD620S, too. Cheers!
