It doesn't really work as a portable dongle. It gets a lot of ringing from moving and interference when hooked to your phone. Drains battery very quickly. It also has a high noise floor and a ridiculous amount of power, I can barely use it with my IEMs. It is too loud with noise after two volume...

No it definitely is NOT. Have you heard it? It is unusable with IEMs. It's not really portable either.

I listened to the Susvara off of the Lina stack at CanJam and it still did nothing for me. Much prefer the Caldera, Utopia, LCD5.

It is, I'm more or less making a statement about how horrible the Susvara are, and Hifiman as a whole. They're the Kia of the headphone industry. If you pretend that you're high end for long enough, maybe everyone will finally believe you. They're poorly made junk.

Electrostatic speakers (MartinLogan for example) have exposed membranes, I have dogs that shed like crazy, and a hair has never punctured the membrane lol. These are stupid, but not for that reason.
