I have entirely too many expensive IEM's, which I tend to carry around. So I went looking for a great case. I found this one. Indestructable. Waterprooof. Easy to carry. Survived being chewed on by a Great Pyrenees dog without a scratch, and protected my MY IEM inside. Less than $10, much...- bigcat39

Upgrade from Cowon Plenue P1
My long serving P1 has finally got to the point that the battery life has become unacceptable. I want a replacement with equivalent single ended sonic performance, probably an android based solution. Suggestions? How much am I going to have to spend?- bigcat39

av710 and onboard ac97 on XP
I just installed an AV-710, and I would like to use the onboard sound chip to run my speakers. I'm using Foobar2000. Unfortunatly, the AC97 doesn't show up in the Hardware profiles in XP. It is enabled in the BIOS. So, if possible, I would like to use both.- bigcat39

What Power Supply for PPA battery charging?
Well, my battery powered super maxed out ppa is nearing completion. I'm going to use a 12 cell AAA config, the calculator says 23.75V. Do I need a regulated switcher? Gawd, I hope not... this has been one expensive project! I was thinking of an open frame 24V switcher, just case it up. But if...- bigcat39

Uncertainty of measurements and DMM's
Due to some recent questions about test equipment, thought I would do a little post on DMM specifications and how they relate to the real world. "Accuracy" is really a relative concept. You have to read and understand what the manufacturer of a piece of test equipment is saying when he quotes...- bigcat39
