JUZEAR (formerly JUNEAR) Impression Thread
I can't speak to the castor, which I haven't tried. Because of the treble you might like the Clear better than the JD7, but I wouldn't call it more open at all.- jwong

JUZEAR (formerly JUNEAR) Impression Thread
I have both the JD7 and Clear, but I'm not one who writes eloquently about sound differences. I was comparing them because I really should reduce my IEM count, but I love both of them. Subjectively, I find the Clear has both more prominent mid-bass and more treble energy. JD7 is a bit more even...- jwong

You guys keep saying things like this and it makes me want to pull the trigger. They're a measly $36 on Amazon in the US with next day delivery. But I have the Quintet coming in the next couple days, still love my Fiio JD7, and am already a big fan of the Clear for the sub $50 market. Why would...- jwong

JUZEAR (formerly JUNEAR) Impression Thread
I don't see any problem with my Clears yet (just arrived yesterday). I'm actually quite surprised at the treble clarity without going into harshness territory for me. Yes, they are bassy but not the bass monsters I expected. For me they actually have a pretty versatile sound signature that works...- jwong

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
Well, I like the FW3 sound, but my left bud doesn't seem to charge past 75%. I wonder what a return to China will cost me. :slight_frown:- jwong

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
With some long plane flights in my future, I'm very curious how the AZ80 and 3ANC compare for ANC. I'm guessing Bose and Sony are still the kings in this area, but wondering if either of these comes close?- jwong

I had both and sold the Hexa, but it does sound flatter. To me that came across as more boring and it gave me nothing the Jd7 didn't. The Jd7 does emphasize the bass some as genesis said. But I don't feel like the mids are behind and the treble never sounds overemphasized to me. The comfort is...- jwong

I'm liking the quartet quite a bit in the down-up configuration, although it's slotted in a very crowded range of similarly priced IEMs that I own and also like. Something needs to go on the chopping block, but I haven't spent enough time yet to know if it can displace any of the others.- jwong

Amen to that! But I used to buy the cheap flavor-of-the-day, then instantly look for something better. Lately things have been so good that I have too many good choices. The Fiio JD7, Juzear 41T, and Penon Fan all work really well for me. I don't need anything fancier. Nevertheless, the Quartet...- jwong

Fun, isn't it? I had an order with 5 different items that went missing after it reached the country. The Chinese service says they handed it over to the USPS; the USPS says they never got it. Ali's "dispute" process just kept telling me to go pick it up at my post office. Fortunately it took my...- jwong

Well, I skew older and prefer the PR2. I haven't watched the demo, but my PR2 arrived today and I've been comparing them. (Granted, only with about an hour of burn-in for the PR2.) I also can't stand foam tips and have been using Clarion Tri on both. The PR1 Pro did come with a better cable...- jwong
