ZMF Atrium - new open-back co-flagship
Thanks for your review. The HEK Stealth really is a superb headphone. I like it more than the HEK v2. Warmer, more engaging, more fun. I am thinking of buying one for the second time. 🤭 I wonder if it sounds good with a tube amp.- DillingerEP

Is the ZMF Atrium or Auteur Classic a step up from a Focal Clear Mg?
Youre welcome. Of course the best thing is to listen to them first. It all is a matter of taste. Unfortunately i can not help you with your first asked question but i think PinkyPowers is right. I had tested a ZMF Atticus. The price was comparable to the Clear OG that i have. So i can say the...- DillingerEP

Is the ZMF Atrium or Auteur Classic a step up from a Focal Clear Mg?
The treble is very different. The HE1000v2 has an emphasis on the upper mids and treble. Together with the detailed sound they gave me, it COULD sound very edgy and bright. Sometimes i liked it, but for general listening, it was too much. The overall sound is leaner on the Hifiman. I like the...- DillingerEP

Is the ZMF Atrium or Auteur Classic a step up from a Focal Clear Mg?
I had the HE1000V2 and the Stealth version. Both headphones, the Stealth even more gave me a wow feeling for their big soundstage and very detailed treble. For longer listening sessions, the treble was too much for me. If the Focal sound is your thing, i can say the Utopia would be a nice step...- DillingerEP

Focal Utopia General Discussion
I bought the Utopia 22 a month ago. It is a headphone i love. The detail retrieval is amazing. The punchy sound is very nice for rock, pop, metal. I like the sound that is detailed but forgiving. I run it with a Cayin Ha6a amp and i am very happy.- DillingerEP

Please recommend Flagship headphones!!!
I can recommend the Focal Uropia 2022 version. This headphone sounds very detailed, but has a warmer sound too. It also slams good and has the typical Focal sound, you can feel on your ears. It works very good with metal and rock because it can slam and can be a little forgiving with harsh...- DillingerEP

Focal Utopia General Discussion
I did not listen to the OG Utopia, so i can not compare. I bought the Cayin Ha6a and i am testing it with the Utopia 22. There is more than enough bass for my taste with the 6.3 plug. With the xlr plug there is way too much bass. I am keen to read your comparison soon.- DillingerEP

Listening to modern hip hop on my HD600s, and im fine with the lack of sub-bass apparently?
Hip Hop can be very different. So i think for some tracks, a nice planar with very low reaching sub bass is nice. Some tracks have punchy beats, so another headphone wirh punch is fine. I think many tracks can sound fatigueing quick, so i like a more forgiving headphone and hifi system for that...- DillingerEP

Focal Clear headphones
I think the HD650 sounds darker and softer than the Clear OG. The Clear has a stronger bass than the HD650. Both have more emphasis on the mids and lower frequencies. The HD650 has a smooth and warm mid emphasis. I find the MG version even bassier than the OG Clear.- DillingerEP

Buy the Sennheiser HD800S now or save up for the HE1000SE? (Mostly Gaming)
Yeah i think both headphones are good for gaming. Id choose the HD800 for gaming most of the time. The T1 for music. I would get a used HD800.- DillingerEP

Headphones for metal music - ultimate solution
The HE1000 Stealth is a very nice headphone. The detail, the punchy and high quality bass, the speed. They sound a little more in your face than the SE imo. Great for many metal genres. Treble CAN get fatigueing with harsh recordings. But overall a real great headphone for the money.- DillingerEP
