I don't see how Variations is anything like Mega5EST. In the area that seems to affect me the most, the 2k-4k region, they're almost opposites... old Harman Pinna vs. a very relaxed pinna in the Mega5EST. Dusk2 does seem to graph similarly, and people compare them a lot.... with the DSP cable...
