Effect Audio cables thread
I got a second hand code 23 cable. After some use the right channel intermittenly disconnects. After twisting various location it’s definitely at the term X connector and it’s the part the cable connecting too as swapping connection heads result in the same outcome. Anyone send a cable in for...- tassardar

AÜR AUDIO IEMs
Other than the really low impedance which may cause some loading issue especially on the older DAPs, the aehta does perform really well with minimal fuss. It's definitely on par with more expensive IEMs.- tassardar

I can take some amount of treble, just can't take the sibilance that gets boosted. There are IEMs with booster treble but tames sibilance like the Maestro SE and MEST MK3 which I am all good with haha.- tassardar

AÜR AUDIO IEMs
I tried with one of the better Yongse pure copper cable with the Mass Kobo 475. Sound stage increases and overall sound is a touch smoother. When I got time I can try with my Enleum which is more of the warmer style amp. I do have a amp with Burson V7, but that is my 3x GT and meant for driving...- tassardar

AÜR AUDIO IEMs
Interesting, you like the mid switch flipped up. I didn't quite like that as it pushes the audio way too close to my face. I opted for a 001 with the Tanchjim T-apb tip that boosted bass and some portion of the lower mids. Gave it more body, took away some treble but significantly reduces...- tassardar

Burson Flagship Headphone Amp - Soloist Voyager - Singapore Loaner Program
I received the voyager just last week and was putting it through its pace. Will put up a proper first impression video later. I compared the voyager and the 3x GT. voyager has a warmer and more powerful sound with a slightly cleaner bass slam. The 3X GT when compared feels closer to neutral...- tassardar

AÜR AUDIO IEMs
I just went around trying just now from my tip box. tanchjim T-apb bass tips were the best for me. It’s the tip that maintains most of the open treble sound and takes away some of the sibilance frequencies. I’ll go get the jvc spiraldots to try out next time- tassardar

Rank the IEM's you've heard
Thought I would update my list here. 1. Noble Onyx and FatFreq Maestro SE 2. A64 U4S 3. A64 U12T / FatFreq Scarlet Mini 4. 7hz Zero 2 5. 7hz Aurora Onyx for the surround sound/soundstage feel while Maestro SE for the exciting but real punchy sound and insane details. U4S is just cause it’s...- tassardar

LAiV Harmony R2R DAC Impression and Reviews
Time domain is definitely a thing but how much can one pick up is probably as subjective as anything else. In hearing stuff, I don’t think my hearing is absolute and I know my ability to remember sound is worst. That’s why I don’t do reviews without an actually comparison switching at the...- tassardar

LAiV Harmony R2R DAC Impression and Reviews
Well the truth is dac differences are really small and do not alter the sound(nor meant to) in a big way. The speakers matters more then any other equipment in the chain. But if your chain is already up, then maybe a upgrade to the DAC is worth it for the pursuit of the last mile.- tassardar

LAiV Harmony R2R DAC Impression and Reviews
Output Impedence don't quite matter since recommendation hovers from 5:1 to 10:1 normally and expected.
