Unveiled: Meet the HD 620S
Great evening listening to these. Certainly get the ‘open’ feeling despite being closed. Pads are very comfy, seal well over my glasses, clamp seems a little tight in the hands but when they’re on it’s a none issue. No issues driving them from the iBasso dongle, nor my L&P W4. Moved over to...- tombrisbane

Unveiled: Meet the HD 620S
Mine arrived today - came with a free iBasso DC06Pro dongle as well (Australian deal). Only had about an hour of listening so far, and I need to leave them burning in, but very impressive straight up. Retains what I love about the 600 series (I own 600/650/660S/660S2) with some more bass (not...- tombrisbane

Hifigo responsiveness
I use them quite often - I’ve always found that they dispatch quickly and their support team respond quickly and fairly. Had an issue with some tips that came with an IEM and they offered more than fair compensation which was refunded immediately. No issues recommending HifiGo from me, only...- tombrisbane

The discovery thread!
Early impressions they seem great, not as energetic as the TWX9, but overall I think they’re tonally better. I have a lot of TWS, these are definitely somewhere towards the top, if not at it.- tombrisbane

Symphonium Crimson - Impressions and Reviews (The Next Standard)
Thanks for @Sebastien Chiu & @Damz87 for the Australian Tour of the Symphonium Crimson, I had the opportunity to spend a couple of weeks with this IEM in return for my honest impressions, as always my impressions aren't influenced by this. Packaging: The IEM comes packaged in a fairly small...- tombrisbane

FATfreq Impressions Thread - Bass Cannons and More
Violet ones that came with my supernova. My right ear is a little funky still with the fit, fine once I get it right but takes a few goes. I’ll play around with the sizes tomorrow. I’ve also got Clarion Tri’s on the way but I don’t think I want to go back to them on this, final e seems to be...- tombrisbane

FATfreq Impressions Thread - Bass Cannons and More
Trying the Scarlet Mini’s out with the Final E tips (I never used them on the tour unit), almost like a different IEM. Brings the treble down a touch and forward and also brings the mids forward, which makes a big difference. Bass remains pretty much as it was, if not a little tighter. Moves...- tombrisbane

The New HIBY R3 II is here. 4.4MM Jack; Improved Sound and Bluetooth.
Thanks to @Joe Bloggs and @Damz87 for the Australian tour. I had the opportunity to demo this for a couple of weeks in return for some impressions. All thoughts are my own. The R3II is a little DAP, the OS is extremely easy to navigate, and due to the form factor very easy to use with a...- tombrisbane

Hiby R6 Pro II (2023 Edition) - Launch, Hype, Thoughts & More
Thanks for @Joe Bloggs & as always @Damz87 for the Australian tour of this DAP. Here are some brief impressions from my time with the R6 P2, all thoughts are my own. I won't go into the look and feel too much, it's a very nice looking DAP, I found the usability pretty good and didn't...- tombrisbane

Denon AH-D9200 - 2018 Flagship - Impressions Thread
Finally purchased these, they’ve been on my to buy list for a long time and certainly haven't disappointed from my initial listen sessions over the first two days. Thanks to @Damz87 and @Sebastien Chiu for the Australian tour of Scarlet Mini, and @tfaduh for his Maestro Mini. Effect Audio cables thread
...point I think it's a great buy as long as you're OK with the ergonomics (which are better than C23 and it's big brother C24) Main points for me: * Warm * Pushed back soundstage and a little closed in * Smooth sounding C24 - quite a neutral sounding cable. Doesn't have the warmth of the...- tombrisbane
