How is the caldera closed compared to your D8k OG? I am trying to find that same tonality, the warm but not too overly warm, detailed, bassy headphone in a closed form.

This a really good EQ for me, I am playing around with mitch's filters but this seems to work better. It brings the females vocals out of the mix a little more, previously, in busy movie soundtracks, the vocals can get overpowered by the instruments but its a lot clearer now.

Would you say the unveiled version was a more intense version with more rounded highs but in a smaller soundstage?

Would you say it is a worthy upgrade from the current susvara?

I wear glasses so I have to break the seal, will the DCA E3 work better than the stealth since it comes with a bass port anyway and the stealth is sealed off?

After getting larger O rings and getting the proper fit, I can say the abyss 1266 phi TC has actually become one of the most comfortable headphones I have ever used. The weight does not bother me, maybe cause of my big head, and the lack of pressure from the cups makes it disappear on my head...

Does anyone have an issue in which the DCA headphones are too small? I have to max out my focals and hifiman to fit my head and since DCA normally uses a suspension headband that is elastic, is there an issue where the headphone will pull itself up because I am maxing them out?

Thanks, I found a solution in the meantime, I just took off the abyss headband and wrapped the metal frame in a aftermarket headband cushion and its working for now. I may either bend the frame or custom make a pad for the abyss frame.

Unfortunately, I have managed to stretch it out to the maximum so the leather headband is maxed out and its still too small, I'll have to talk to abyss and see how I can fix it. Maybe bend the frame downwards.

Is there a discernible difference in sound quality between the level 1 and the KTE? There is quite a large price difference and the differences is mostly the isolated USB input and upgraded transformer. I don't how that translates to sound differences.

I made my peace with the driver cost, I love the d8k so much that if something happens with the driver, I will most likely just buy another pair pre-owned. I feel less stress when using my susvara because the drivers are pretty cheap.
