I am down to 5 dacs so I am ok in that dept! 6 cans so ok there as well. About the only thing I would like to try is a YGGY. I am a fan of multibit dacs for sure. 1 of the dacs is a Schiit Modius E which for a DS dac often surprises me. Another is a Schiit MB + latest version after the covid...

One thing with buying something that a large cross age group highly rates is your at least a little more safe in getting something that is indeed good. And that doenst hurt with the resale value too! :>)

Been there done that a real pain....if your not careful with the volumes you might put a tweeter out is space!! I finally settled on a good AVR for the HT and separates for 2 ch...and just attached the appropriate cables for 2 ch etc.. Was safer for me and simple for my feeble brain to handle...

Well I put away the awesome Rad 0's and picked up my old Senn HD650's...my low end cans. Dont get much love here anymore. Sigh... But plugged them into the Piety and that old black magic happened! Really decent cans for less than $500. Great Pairing with the Piety...really a person starting...

Well I just turned-on Piety for the first time in several weeks with a MHDT TDA 1541 dac chip, multibit from the late 80's... Cans today are Rad 0's. Tube in MHDT Orchid is a GE 5760W. HIGH Gain. The little Piety is a really decent sounding amp.. The MHDT Orchid is as well.. Absolutely stunning...
