I once bought a brand new Senn HD800S in CNY 7600 (around USD 1050) in Nov 2016 from a dealer. Price inclusive of tax and shipping. It wasn't pricey at that time.

HD660 S2 is not good. It has no quality-price ratio comparing to HD 580/600/650 and you won't add too much money to buy a used Beyer T1 series or some other headphone.

If I were you I would select HD650. It is more universal in all kinds of music than HD600. However, you can add some money for Verum 1 MKII or waiting for Verum 2.

I recommend Abyss 1266 series.

I prefer HD650 because you can get one in a reasonable price. It sounds very dynamic and unique, like adding grey on a colorful picture. In other words, there's a bit of a film camera feel to it.
